MadibaJ 20
Icetv lets you download an xmltv file. There are live TV backends ie mediaportal that allow xmltv import. Maybe it's worth looking into a different backend that will allow this?

Trevor68 30
I struggled with NextPVR for a week or so, but useless guide data and a complete failure to get it to accept xml output from EPG Collector became a deal breaker in the end. As far as IceTV goes, to be expected really, wtf charge $99/year for what is essentially free data. I can't speak for your country but I can tell you that in the US it is most certainly not free data. Even if the underlying raw data was free, it is their business model to curate it, and improve it by adding related data to tie it into other sources, strike deals with other providers to get access to nice images, etc. When someone reports a channel missing or showing the wrong data, someone has to look into it by hand, just like you see rkulagow does for Schedules Direct. Those things all cost money.

What exactly didn't NextPVR like about your TV Guide? There is stacks of people using xmltv files from EPG Collector, and there is no known issues in this area of the app. I'm happy to help you through it, but you'll need to provide info (ie answer questions). denz 385
I have posted couple of questions in the icetv forum asking them for support and from their feedback it is unlikely however if there is more users posting it may change. Another cool feature i asked if they could implement is thumbnails in tv guide and they said they looked into it but didnt receive feedback from Microsoft and didnt go ahead and now that wmc is no more it is unlikely. I have asked here couple of times as a feature request since emby can get thumbnails for movies and from tv series what is stopping it from getting series info for tvguide when it can get it for movies. As thetvdb.com has a number of australian shows at least it will be partly filled and if we could use the web client to fill the rest of it. It will be a bit of work but at least it is a workaround and it will make emby theater enjoyable to use.
