Hi there so I was noticing whenever I use poster view it is alot easier to "remember" what movies I have backed up and see all of them BUT it does not have details of the movie when hovering over it. I enjoy uaing coverflow view for this reason BUT then you have to scroll by a single row. My suggestion is to add an option to add details with poster view. I know it then basically makes coverflow view useless or just a copy of poster view but it would be a nice thing to have.

Kind of but I mean also include the description so you can remember what it is you are about to watch lol. In your example "Act Of Valor" is selected so to the right of it or where you tihnk would work best it would be nice if you could include a descripton eg. "An elite team of Navy SEALs embark on a covert mission to recover a kidnapped CIA agent."

I am using the standard Chocolate theme although if you have a video showing off Media Browser Plus (I looked all over YouTube) I wouldn't mind buying that assuming I like what it is.

Well poster view is designed to show lots of posters.  The more other information we put on top of them, the fewer posters we get and, as you said before, then it just becomes like some of the other views.  So, for now, that is the information that is shown.

There are several screen shots of MB Plus as well as instructions for configuration and what it does in the description thread.  There is a two-week free trial as well so you can just try it out.  Thx.

Well yeah I understand that it is designed yo show more posters but it would still be nice to see a description. Maybe if it was an option to turn on and not a requirement? Heck even including an adjustable font size could fix the issue. That way you can still see all the posters and have a description. Maybe even a small box with a scrolling description that way the length doesnt matter just the space the description "box" takes up.

As for MBPlus I would try it out but it only lets me install it on WMC not on the server (Which according to what I was reading it needs to also be installed on for it to work). On the server when I go to it, it says "The trial period for this feature has expired". So it won't even let me try it out.

One of Throg's themes had an option to do this - but I always turned it off as it took up too much space.

The Chocolate thumb view has a title and description overlay - I suppose if there was an option to use that on the poster view it would give the op what he's after.

What the OP is describing was actually one way you could set up your view in MB2. That is what I wanted to do when I started using MB3 and was disappointed to find I couldn't. It was nice to be able to browse lots of posters at once and also get a description without having to enter the item. That view gave the most information with the least number of button presses. With a large media collection, I find it very cumbersome to use views like coverflow.

If I remember correctly, I had posters vertically scrolling on the left with thumbs and description on the right. I've gotten used to the poster view now, so I don't know if I would go back to the other style even if I could.
