I'm testing Emby on IPTV system, as a VOD server. STB: DV8120 TV Box (https://androidtvbox.eu/sdmc-dv8119-and-dv8120-another-android-tv-boxes-with-soc-amlogic-s905/) 1. When Emby APK is installed on STB and played a movie on, the audio comes but not the video, and it stays on the screen where you pressed "play" on. 2. Since it is browser based, it is extremely hard to navigate using the remote control of the STB. So I've to use a computer mouse on STB. I was wondering if it's possible to have an Emby layout like real a VOD in IPTV. 3. Some movies' thumbnail don't update even though I go to "identify" and use IMDb-id.
kanipek posted a topic in Android TV / Fire TVI haven't ever really used Emby for watching Live TV before. So I don't know if this is a recent problem or not. Emby doesn't seem to have any other issues recording any of these channels. I am attaching a server log and several ffmeg (transcode) logs. So what I am seeing on an Nvidia Shield is this: For an mpg2 channel a spinning circle for a few seconds then channels play For mp4 channels just a spinning circle, black screen no audio/video Sony Bravia XBR55x850d: Same as the NVIDIA Shield Web client: Plays Everything I have tried to tune So with the Sony and Nvidia both being Android TV am I missing a setting some where? Should Live TV be working normally on these clients? On the Nvidia I did try to use an external player (which ended up using KODI) but there was a lot of buffering. Emby Server is Version 126.96.36.199 I have rebooted server/network to try and fix. I have seen no error messages. Thanks for reading and any help you can provide! server-63638039827.txt ffmpeg-remux-658ee994-d307-4e15-b010-ff206a026995.txt ffmpeg-remux-48161535-d1db-469c-8889-cbb75f94b9d6.txt ffmpeg-remux-2d9c9ce5-dca8-4007-85f3-3fc1b53e11b5.txt ffmpeg-transcode-2aab3d6e-cdb1-4f2d-876e-eae47c184313.txt
jjshina posted a topic in Android TV / Fire TVWhy do some of my movie and tv shows play and others do not. Some play that are mp 4 and some play that are avi but then again others of the same kind will not this only happens when I stream to my amazon tv but all works when I am on the web browser.
Fairly recently, though don't know from which version, 1st gen FireTV won't play some 720p MKV video's. It plays DVD rips, plays Bluray rips, will play some 720's but not others. Didn't work on 1.2.11 and also not on the new version released on 16th July. The first below plays, the second doesn't, for example... Also see that latest version no longer indicates whether it is transocding / direct playing / anything at all (did show on 1.2.11).
