I've tried using Emby for my Roku 3, both version 2.09 and 2.10, and while watching Live TV does work, the stream always continues to stream even long after I've exited the Emby channel on my Roku. Additionally, when I change channels, Emby always opens the live stream on another Tuner instead of the one it was using before. In other words, I have a CableCard and 6 tuners available. I can start a live tv stream in Emby on the Roku, change the channel 5 more times, and I've now consumed all my tuners. Upon changing the channel one more time, no tuners are available and the Emby channel on my Roku crashes. Is anyone else having this issue? It seems the Roku Emby channel is not telling the server to end the stream and stop using the tuner after I stop watching Live TV... I'm using ServerWMC (latest version as of this post), a Ceton InfiniTV 6 (6 channel CableCard tuner), Emby Server on my Windows 7 machine, and my Roku 3 running both the 2.09 and 2.10b of the Emby channel. What's even more interesting: Watching live tv through the Emby web portal always will end the stream and release the tuner once I change the channel/stop watching live tv in the browser. Anyone care to cuss/fuss/discuss?? Thanks!

Now that Microsoft has officially killed WMC in Windows 10 + ... A true replacement for WMC must eventually incorporate its DVR / Live TV functionality. Is there any chance Emby Theater will be that WMC replacement? SiliconDust (HDHomeRun) are KickStarting a CableCARD DVR device+"app" -- could such functionality be accessed from within Emby Theater at some point? I anticipate being able to use my Windows 7 Cinema PCs running WMC for the next 5 years; after that (or after 8 years with Win8.1), the television part of the Cinema PC Experience will necessarily change. Can Emby Theater become the cornerstone of such an experience?

Windows Media Center likely not to be included in Windows 10
jkanoy posted a topic in Non-Emby General Discussion
Sorry if this is a duplicate post, I searched keywords related to this but they were all older conversations. With rumors still circulating about the very real possibility of WMC not being included in Windows 10, can you guys at Media Browser consider adding support for DRM, such as PlayReady or something certified by CableLabs. I would be more than willing to pay for a version that supports this. Others might be just as willing. You could try taking a poll and see how many users would be willing to pay for a version that contains DRM. I'm very sad about WMC, but I really like the interface of MB. It we can have everything in one application, that would be awesome. Let me know what you think.
