Hi, found it, it all works as intended now. I was looking only at the subtitle settings of the server and the subtitle settings that appear when playing a movie. My bad, thanks for the help!

I can scroll through the list of extras and play individual ones, but I'd like a "Play All" button next to the "Extras" section header that will play all of them back to back. Some movies have a separate file for each deleted scene, but I don't want to have to keep scrolling and clicking through the list to play them all (and I don't want to simply merge them all into one file because then I lose the ability to just play a specific one). I also don't want to manually create a bunch of playlists to simulate this.

For as simple as the display of photos appears it seems that every interface has major problems that Emby is just incapable of effectively addressing. I guess we should be happy that mostly Emby works quite well and just "grin and bear it" in the parts that break regularly or never get addressed.

I believe the alpha picker is either fine or completely FUBAR. Even in my browser there is no alphapicker in photos if browsing by photos but if browsing by folders it is fine. However the last 1/3 of the photos will not show when browsing by folder but will show when browsing by photos. So when browsing I can either have a perfectly working alphapicker and not be able to view 1/3 of my photos or I can view all my photos but have absolutely no alphapicker. <SIGH> FWIW: On my Rokus the photos are fine and the alphapicker works in all modes I have investigated. I think Emby has just not thoroughly debugged and usability tested the alphapicker across all interfaces. They must see it as unimportant because it works for most people most of the time. Lastly, it seems that, in spite of promises, Emby just refuses to add simple things to the Roku interface like the ability to favorite/unfavorite photos from the Roku interface. As good as the programming and user interface is for the Roku Emby just will not finish the product's user interface on the Roku. It gets very frustrating when we have the high quality we see combined with the extreme neglect we also see.

Ownership and permissions matter. It Emby owns the full path recursively then it will be able to access. If it only owns some sub-directories it will still need permissions on the full path to get there.

Which is even more strange, as the check of the Android version works perfectly fine on the same device - which indicates that it uses some other method to do the check, so wouldn't it make sense to use this check instead?

Definitely. We've done some work on it during the past few weeks. A small amount of issues are still remaining, but it's coming.

Yes both the image and text come from the guide data. And yes that is possible.

Emby asks NextPVR if the user is a donator. There is no setting where you need to enter the donation in Emby. After you've registered the donation on NextPVR's web app, you'll appear as a donator from Emby's perspective, and they'll be able to show you the full set of channels.

If you scroll to the bottom of the page of photos before starting the slide show, it should show them all. However, you may not want to do all of them. Maybe just scroll down several pages...

To all that have been waiting for this feature you might want to have a look at this. I found it and @Sluggeris a great programmer and took on board several suggestions and has just released V3.0.0 which works like a charm and is really flexable. Allows me to delete all watched episodes except the last one watched so the continue watching still works. It's capable of so much more once you delve into the filters.

Well yes because now 1 pixel of data needs needs to occupies 4 pixels, so it's being upscaled in that regard, though I think more correctly that's upsampling, which is going to be handled by the operating system because it still needs to fill the frame with data before sending out to the display. There shouldn't be any interpolation between pixels required because it's an exact 4:1 ratio, compared to for example displaying 1440p content within a 2160p frame which is not an exact ratio and would require interpolation. It's never going to look as good (read: sharp) as content that matches the native resolution because there's less pixels to work with, but it's not going to look bad per se, especially if the bitrate is high enough on the content. I think what you're actually trying to ask is if the OS upscaler is better than the one built into the TV, and I don't have a concise answer but given the exact 4:1 ratio upscale required I think the answer is that it doesn't matter and it's going to look the same either way. Yes it will pass the audio over eARC, that's how I use my soundbar. I used to use the LG app but then switched to an Nvidia Shield and still using eARC for audio to the soundbar.

Hi hooray4me, I'm using the updated docker-compose you provided to Webdoc for a docker I'm running on a mac. I can get the docker to run and pull and create the .strm files, but noticed that the cron jobs do not run. In the logs I can see this: "no cronjob for root". Also, the cron.log file is empty. What do you mean by that? Subtitle size is a client-side option, not server-side one, you need to adjust subtitle size from within your Samsung TV client app.
