Your server Settings>Emby Premiere tab in sidebar will give you general idea about your subscription/device usage: under/close to/over limit. Is there a limit to Emby Premiere? It will, devices are tracked for abt. a week. If those multiple servers are using same Premiere key - it is single device. If multiple keys - one device per key.

Hello, I have purchased the genuine authorization for EMBY, but I remember when I made the purchase, it prompted me to use 25 devices. I would like to confirm a few things: 1. How to check how many device quotas have been used now? What are the principles for occupying equipment quotas? Under what conditions will it be considered as occupying a quota? 3. If the device is not used later, will it automatically clear the occupied quota? 4. But if I have multiple servers and the same client accesses multiple servers, does this count as one client occupying one quota or multiple? Thank you, please click to reply.

Does this support only Plex home users or does it also support users that are not Plex Home users, so users that are created through Plex.tv?

Hello, thank you for your help, but there are no changes with this update. The application cannot be used, it crashes and restarts after a few seconds.

Check in Manage Emby Server -> Transcoding and change Enable list to Advanced to see if HW is active. Look in the hardware detection log and ffmpeg logs from playback sessions to see if it's using HW accel.

Yeah that would be great if you could support those. I think you have most of the other tags covered..

Hi Luke, mine is the other thread on this issue and just thought I'd add I'm getting the same issue on starting playback, but can now get past the splash screen. Mine is for both video and audio (mp4a)

Hi, It was imported a while back so I removed it from the library, ran a library scan so that Emby deletes it from the DB, then re-added it to the library and ran a second scan. attached is the server logs. server.txt

There may be some duplicate entries. I could check the database and see if it can be recovered. Alternatively, you could start with a fresh setup and database for your media. Send me zip of the original corrupt database - upload externally and send me a link to download by Private Message. You could also include zip of the sql file you are importing in The corruption was detected during database updates on upgrade to 4.8.7 - some database corruptions lay dormant and have limited impact until the database structure / data needs to be updated in a new version of the server software

a s9 ultra is def not a phone and as written, nothing is working. it's really annoying. you can't see the mouse so you can't place it correct (where would that be anyway..) so the overlay doesn't hide. you can't use the mouse for anything else then play pause, because you can't see it screen off doesn't work it stays on for years ... thanks!!!

Another problem.. once I deleted Downloadd.ADV I lost all the metadata such as thumbnails and peek previews and they fail to be regenerated back even when forced with refresh metadata.. how so??

An observation ... All those that failed above failed after 5 minutes processing. I wonder if there is a time limit forcing a failed exit after that - just a thought. I now have access to the first file on the list above and started to download the zips.

doh the option already exists defaults to on. I guess its possible that some people "work in songs rather than albums" and it would a poorer default experience to loose song images....rock and hard place... i'm leaning towards your original suggestion... But removing the memory of an embedded image would leave artwork experience in a precarious position.....?any rescan would flip it back?.... maybe the warning would have to be accompanied by an action to lock image [metadata] - prevent embedded image retrieval for said tracks. refresh all metadata with images option i guess would be the reset / fall back from that decision if user changed their mind. [but would reccomend that image metadata lock to be exposed in UI so it can be unlocked first.]

It is an issue on thetvdb as also effecting other apps. It should fix itself when the api is back up.

These logs are from the 6th May and not 23rd. Logs cover period 2024-05-05 23:59 to 2024-05-06 19:43 running EmbyServer version 4.8.5.0

@Lessaj@LukeSo Emby Theatre on my wired machine straight up wont stream anything. So I had to use the web client. The movie was playing and essentially just stopped, pause/unpause did nothing. Iv attached the logs. embyserver.txt ffmpeg-remux-33c39835-9a15-4cde-9864-91c438c12e41_1.txt

...exported as sql and imported to a new database: error in import: Fehler im Statement #38679: UNIQUE constraint failed: AncestorIds2.ItemId, AncestorIds2.AncestorId. There is no data in imported database.

Above screenshot is on web browser. Just the same as web app.
