Install the Windows Store mpeg2 extension

For those using Emby for Windows Store, we recommend installing the Microsoft mpeg2 extension:   https://www.microsoft.com/store/apps/9n95q1zzpmh4   This will allow the app to decode mpeg2 in-app without having to rely on server transcoding. Once this is installed, the Emby Windows Store app will automatically take advantage of it.   Learn more about Emby for Windows Store.

Until you do that, you won't get any subtitle downloads. Stay tuned for more developments on subtitle downloading !

IMPORTANT - Update to MBC 129

Another reminder that, before you update to the next beta server release, you must update MBC to version 3.0.129 or greater.   If you neglect to do this, you will not be able to enter MBC after the server update. MBC will produce an "Invalid Password" error upon entry. If you end up in this situation, either re-install from the web site or update via the Configurator.
