This will allow the app to decode mpeg2 in-app without having to rely on server transcoding. Once this is installed, the Emby Windows Store app will automatically take advantage of it.

An updated version of the Emby Open Subtitles plugin is currently rolling out.
We have switched from opensubtitles.org to the newer opensubtitles.com
This means you will need to create an account on opensubtitles.com and configure that in Emby Server settings. Until you do that, you won't get any subtitle downloads.

Another reminder that, before you update to the next beta server release, you must update MBC to version 3.0.129 or greater.
If you neglect to do this, you will not be able to enter MBC after the server update. MBC will produce an "Invalid Password" error upon entry. If you end up in this situation, either re-install from the web site or update via the Configurator.
Our move to a completely new hosting environment for our back-end server was completed last weekend and everything appears to be running very smoothly with much better response from the forums and package delivery system.
