I have my users hidden from the login screen. I do this primarily because Emby is exposed to the internets. I don't want the chance that if someone just happens to figure out the address of my Emby server that they can't pick a user and start attempting to brute force in (though, my firewall should capture that and block it).

ok so from what i said before, (i missed reading a variable so i removed that part!) i feel "collectedEpisodes" should not include specials, as they are "special"! so this: if (totalEpisodes > 0) { collected = collectedEpisodes / (decimal)totalEpisodes * 100; } should be this: if (totalEpisodes > 0) { collected = (collectedEpisodes - totalSpecials) / (decimal)totalEpisodes * 100; } then it would show this: total: 21 collected: 20 specials: 1 20 / 20 (100%) +1 sp now as far as watched, i dont use that part of the tables, so i do not have an opinion on if specials SHOULD be considered as watched episodes? although you could prob do the same here with episodes/specials? Hi If Possible Can you add composer to the song info context menu. I find it difficult to quickly id the composer of a song. For a Song you would then have: Album Art, Name, Artist, Album Date, and Composer in one click Thanks, -vicpa

I had the same issue and running the refresh internet channels task fixed it.

Have you tried clicking on the server at that screen? I cannot reproduce a problem here. It does present me with the select server screen because the last attempt could not find the saved server but, I click on the server, it shows me a list of users, I click on a user and it logs me right in - no password needed...

so this is what i am thinking: using this example that seems perfect. where the prob seems to be, from my end, and correct me if i am wrong: ***EDIT*** rereading code....so this section was changed,ill get back to you here! ***EDIT*** as long as Episodes is the collected count and Collected is the percentage but what i believe it used to do, was more "correct" in NOT counting specials in collected: as to me "collected" would only consist of the ACTUAL show collected. in the past it was the specials that kept breaking the "complete" count! so basically i am thinking, and hope others chime in "Collected" = actual episodes collected "specials" = specials "total" = Collected +specials collected display = Collected then the # +SP example: total: 21 collected: 20 specials: 1 20 / 20 (100%) +1 sp You have a total of 21 which is 20 episodes and 1 special which worked GREAT when you had lets say 2 folders, 1 with 10 in then and 1 with 10, and 1 folder with specials. Verifying you had all the episodes and specials very easily! S0 = 1 S1 = 10 S2 = 10 but that was also broken by emby, as it shows specials IN the folders, so now you would see the green circles S0 = 1 S1 = 11 S2 = 10 (counting the green circles on the folders now give you 22!) when you only have 21 (21 episodes and 1 special) right now running a scan, then will test out some things. may take a day or 2 i hope this makes sense, as my brain is on 40 things right now as i am working and typing!

I think this issue can be easily adressed by adding a option to force emby or ffmpeg to stop the stream and clear temp folder if it is more than 3 hours long (for example) or a custom time.

Forgot to update here, but it appears to be receiving errors if the encrypted volume is not mounted. I've also taken to enabling the generation of NFO files so that if the database does get messed up then theoreitically I shouldn't have to redo any of the manual metadata editing.

UPDATE i gave up on NFS i am now using SMB with 777 permission , everything goes fine SMB doesnt work before because it only have 755 permission, it must be mount with 777 permission in order to make emby write data to it all the tutorial i look before are all mounting SMB with 755 permission Here is the command for mounting SMB w 777 sudo -i mount -t cifs -o "rw,dir_mode=0777,file_mode=0777,username=xxx,password=xxx" //192.168.xxx.xxx/Nas/emby /mnt/smb i hope i can help someone who gets the same problem

This is really irrelevant as it just means you held the camera the opposite direction. But for the test I would expect the Samsung version 1.7.0 (12/27/2023 9 versions behind) to be an issue as it is old and would guess does not have current changes. But for all the reset yes direct play works and transcoding does not work correctly.

If I remember correctly that is tied to this Library-Advanced tab option to use existing or Emby generated. As title tracks previously possibly has better track descriptions for say ATMOS and others that Emby now reads.

That's it. I'm canceling my Premium subscription. I don't use any premium feature anyway. After all this time you cannot add ''titlovi.com'' as a subtitle addon. You are lame. Ffs, it even has better English subtitles than OpenSubtitles. OpenSubtitles sucks.

Oddly over DLNA the quality is worse and has a soap opera effect (faster FPS). It also shows a different status bar on the TV when you pause etc. I did have it show up for remote to TV like it used to and not over DLNA but that has since stopped working. Guess just something I have to live with now.

Hi, I’d like to propose a suggestion. I often watch Emby TV lying down before I go to sleep, and sometimes I fall asleep while watching, causing Emby TV to keep playing. Could you add a new feature: a single countdown exit function, such as adding a temporary 30-minute auto-shutdown option (the specific number of minutes can be customized according to each person’s situation)? If 30 minutes pass, a pop-up prompt would appear, and if I want to keep watching, I can continue. If there is no button response, Emby would automatically exit after 10 seconds. This way, Emby won’t play all night long.
