Roy English Emby metadata: Alesso; Roy English So Emby add other informations how for example the track number or gender... How can i solve? In this picture i have set the ARTIST tag with name Grace. but Emby don't see the ARTIST and you can see this in the follow images: Why Emby don't see the artist for some songs? Do you have mp3tag or picard? https://www.mp3tag.de/en/ https://picard.musicbrainz.org/ These are very popular programs used by Emby admins to tag and view music files. How do you expect it to show in Emby since no specific artist is tagged? Instead of trying to change something in Emby, why don't you change the tract tag? I ask because there has been many changes to Music in Emby Server 4.6 which is nearly 100% tag driven and I'd like to see if the new version gets this the way you expect. All big issues are taken care of so it's pretty safe to install if you can't wait. You can install the Beta if you like (backup first in case you want to revert back) and then when released update to the release (to get you back off beta). Does that answer your questions? However, those changes are unknown to the previous version, so a backup of the database from before the changes is required if you want to go back.
