Hi, I have just switch from Plex and have some issues/problems with Emby

1.When i try to play a movie/tv show sometimes i get this error: Playback Error No compatible streams are currently available.

What can i do?

2.It takes a long time until something plays  - like 3x clicks - is this normal, is it my internet, server or tv? Anything i can do about it?

It works fine on the computer.

Library (Emby 4.5.2.0) is on iMac with Catalina - streaming wirelessly to LG Smart TV (42LB650V-ZN) Emby Theater 1.0.24.

Hey Luke - thanks for reaching out so fast.

I'm not a very technical person so i hope i put the write file here:

Also - do you need more context about the problem?

Hi, is this the log file from the time frame that the problem was experienced? Around what time was that?

Hi Luke,

I rewatch now some of the files ( 3 ) i had problems and redownload the embyserver txt - so the timestamp should be for now.

The problems i'm facing are:

  • on the Antony and Cleopatra movie, i don't have anymore play, pause controls - and can't stop the movie, or load subtitles
  • On the Raised by wolves - the problems are gone ... strange..
  • On The Boys same problem with the Playback Error

Hi, was there an ffmpeg log? Please attach that as well. Thanks.

Is that the one from when the problem was experienced?

Hi, essentially what I'm trying to say is there is an overwhelming number of log files. here. I'm not really sure what I should be looking at.

How about this. Please make the problem happen again, then attach all log files that were written to during the time period of the test. Thanks.
