Oh, yes. That is beta server.

Okay give me a moment to try my beta instance, so I can fix this.

Yes, is the beta sever

This is hard to fix.

The provider Manager  changed between release and beta servers.

I'm not sure how to fix this yet. 😬

I'll keep trying.

Coming back to my copy of Blakes 7 that I want on my Cloud drive and local drive, I enabled 'Default Series library folder' for my cloud drive, it has come back as said 'Exsisiting File' which was expected, I then have clicked Identiy and it has come up with your new menu :) HOWEVER, I identify it, then select the cloud drive as the storage option but it has downloaded it to my local drive;

Just another thought I've had.

Would it be possible to associate a Watch folder to a Destination? For me this would be great, cloud and local watch and destination, would make things easy, however appriciate this might be a bit niche and not for everyone.

There is a actually a check to make sure that the watched folder is never a destination library folder in the code.

I think it is there because it could cause files to recursively move back and fourth.

So I'm guessing something isn't working here.

That file organizer JavaScript is a real pain in the butt.

I've got to figure that out. It is still not overwriting the target folder.

It changes back somewhere.

The code can get tangled really easily between auto detecting episodes and the identification methods.

I swear I'm not breaking it on purpose 😆.

Think you may have got confused in my request as I didn't phrase it aswell as I could have done.

“Cloud drive > Watch Folder“ all files in here go to “Cloud drive > Destination Folder“

👌

Yes, I think that is possible, yes.

Writting the code is easy, I just have to figure out how to layout the options in the settings to make it possible.

@GiGo

Are you able to target a folder properly with this version here?

Emby.AutoOrganize_v1.6.2.3.zip

I've rewritten the file organizer.js

I'm pretty sure you should be able to target a root folder in the cloud using the Identify option.

I'm going to work on laying out the possibility to target specific destination folders, based on the monitored folders... and try to keep it simple too.

I just found a new bug for you.

This was three episides of deadline.

This is a new show, so it has (2022) on the name (as there is a 2008 version of the same name in a diff language).

When it is added (note, this is NOT in my emby library_, it is adding a second (2022) to the folder name.

See here :

I am not sure this is a Autoorganize issue, it could also be a metadata provider issue.

I had the same with "The Flash (2014) (2014)".

This technically isn't a bug, the show is identified on TVDB as 'Deadline (2022)' as the Original 'Deadline' is 2008 so will appear as Deadline (2008) any other version will be identfied as Deadline (year) (year), this happens to lots of shows that are remakes, to name but a few;
Call the Cops (2019) (2019)
Are You Afraid of the Dark (2019) (2019)
A Fine Romance (1981) (1981)
Around the World in 80 Days (2021) (2021)

No worries.  I fixed up manually as that just looks wrong.  It is not done like this in sonar renaming however, only when run through auto organise?   I imagine the auto organise tool could easily check to see if two years are coming back, then strip one off……

Once again appolgies for all the code, seems the system is doing a refresh

Just want to make sure I follow correctly:

Auto organize marks the file as existing.

If you press the sort button in the table,  the dialog appears, asking you if you want to proceed.

If you press the "identify" button, the file organizer dialog appears.

If you select the "series" from the drop-down box.

The "Root folder" option should become available to you?

Are you able to see the folder in the "Root folder" drop-down that you want the file to move to?

Yes I see the Root folder and select the correct root folder but it still diverts to the local folder.

i just done the clean installation. Only for confirmation -do I did the steps correctly?

1. Install EMBY Docker

2. Install AutoOrganise from emby plugins

3. Replace Emby.AutoOrganize.dll with file from this forum

4. Shutdown the EMBY Server (or docker)

5.  Delete data/fileorganization.db

6. Start EMBY Server

Yes that's correct. I do all of the above. I select the cloud root drive for the destination but it 'auto selected' the original path (my local drive) and transfer the file.

I'm seeing what is happening now.

It's a big change. 😬 It's going to take some time.
