Trakt overwriting Continue Watching for TV episodes (but not movies)

The issue doesn't bother me anymore after I disabled "import playstates from trakt". Like someone mentioned here,this works for people who have 1 server. might not be as nice for people who wanna sync playback progress via trakt from other places

The task should be disabled. It is not intended to be run on a regular basis, only one-time when you first setup and occasicanally manually after that if there is a reason to do a full re-sync.

Necroing an old thread.

 

I've had this happen occasionally on some programs.  Having had it again today, I've had a bit of a look.  I think today's issue may be because the program in question (https://thetvdb.com/series/rob-daves-big-texas-rodeo) doesn't exist on Trakt or TMDB, but it does exist on TheTVDB.

 

As a result, I've followed Luke's advice above and disabled the periodic sync.

I've re-enabled periodic sync, so will see how it goes.

I've re-added a scheduled task to import play status from Trakt.
