Hi! here is my current Emby setup.

Emby Server is running on Windows and linked to Google Drive for media accessed via Google File Stream. It's running great.

But I want to switch to Android so can anyone tell me how to link my Gdrive account in order to access the media from there in Emby Server for Android is there an app equivalent to Google File-stream for Android?

Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

Looking for the same.

As far as I know, we can use .strm and then add them to any folder.

However I used gdrive addon from Kodi but does not work.

Let see if @@ddurdle can help us

@drikosv8, did you set a username/password in the configuration page?  If so, you need to make sure whatever the hostname you used, is in the /etc/hosts file, resolving to 127.0.0.1.

You can also update your job to use 127.0.0.1 instead of whatever hostname you defined.  You can update the job using python setup.py.

Is there a proper step by step guide anywhere?

From this what I get is Install Kodi than install Gdrive plugin.

How to generate strm files via Kodi?

How to link strm file to Emby (Just locate it to the folder path where strm files are located?

Just added it, Only part I left out was clicking on the Addon Google Drive for Kodi. Be sure to click Save/Run as the final Step.  :) Yes, In the Server Panel Library for Emby, Just Point Emby to this Folder IE TV, and Emby will import all your TV Shows.

Friend @@ddurdle and friends

I need your help a lot, I am 3 days and I still can not solve this problem with ssl in the plugin.

I have already installed the ssl certificate, but when I open the web interface with the python command default.py ./gdrive.db 443 ./mycert.pem, the scheduler does not export new strm and also after I add user and password in the plugin, it is no longer possible to navigate the web interface, it always asks for a password and it only stays in the main screen.

In the plugin panel and in the scheduler only just written "exception".

Please help me!!

Thank you

i can't support your certificate issues.

Also, if you are going to user a username/password, you MUST make sure the HOSTNAME that you define the scheduled job IS WHITELISTED in the /etc/hosts file to ADDRESS 127.0.0.1  OTHERWISE YOU GET THE EXCEPTION ERROR -- AUTHORIZATION NOT GRANTED.

Thank you for taking the time to help me, my friend.

I've looked at everything, and I still have the problem.
127.0.0.1 https: // myplugin: 8443

The certificate is correct, because the green padlock appears informing that the page is safe.

More I have received the message below and does not export the strm, even without password and login, it happens the same.

trabalho # 5 nome de usuário = pasta GritePlay = m4rflix@gmail.com - última execução status: 2019-04-07 02: 16: 08.352888 - exceção

I haven't tested it with SSL.  I would suggest removing the username and password setting as it sounds like it is not compatible with your SSL setup.

Any chance of being compatible in the future?

You'd Probably get a better response if you Google-Translate that....JS
