Sammy 738
While we're discussing remotes, I use an Elite and Hub in the Family Room and 900's with RF to IR blasters and FLIRC in all other locations. BTW, What profile are you guys using for FLIRC with Harmony remotes? Sent from my SM-G960U1 using Tapatalk Edited January 3, 2019 by Sammy

EODCrafter 180
The Developer Setting (Keep Shield Remote) (2017) awake during playback has no effect on a upgraded 2015 remote?
vaise 307
OK - lots foa good info here. I bought the shield, and a new Samsung HW-N950 soundbar. All 4K stuff in dolby atmos and HDR no issues - nothing needed to tweak or tune in my testinf of this. Now to actual using it and a few issue have been 'raised' by the wife : 1 - Where are the roku thumnails (ahem... forgot about losing that). 2 - Wife trying to go left and right to skip forward/back...... does nothing. Extra clicks needed ? So far that is her complaints. I may need to check a roku in another HDMI port just for her stuff...... I will spend some time investigation/reading the android forums for info. Sammy 738
Just got this from nVidia Support: I thought I get back to you just to save you some time. According to our dev team, the Fixed volume setting currently does not support bluetooth audio devices. The function is only designed to be used with HDMI and USB audio devices. Thanks for your understanding.

In my wife's words 'they are the best think about FF and RW' If you never had a roku, then you would not be aware, but when you FF and RWD in emby on a roku, you actually see a 'thumbnail' image for each point - so when you are say... FF through ads on a recorded TV show, you can see when they end and literally it takes a second to go right to the show again.

vaise 307
I think it's like 7 clicks or something to skip commercials. My woman just counts the clicks... Not so in Australia - they seems to decided how long the ad's are based on time of day, popularity of the TV show etc etc - sometimes, just one ad, sometimes just an add for the TV Show you are already watching for the next day. It is all over the place - same with the EPG - they will start/stop a TV show when they feel like it (seeing as they have little control when they try to fit all those ad's in).
