glenskie16 0 Posted January 9, 2018 Author Posted January 9, 2018 Hello, My server just crashed again. it looks like it might have to do with something called mono. I will edit the main topic with a new log.
Solution Luke 38860 Posted January 9, 2018 Solution Posted January 9, 2018 Hi, we have a new installation package on our website: https://emby.media/download.html This is based on .net core and no longer uses mono. I would recommend switching to that. You will need to purge the mono installation though. Thanks. 1
glenskie16 0 Posted January 9, 2018 Author Posted January 9, 2018 Awesome! How do i purge the mono installation? i just did the sudo apt-get remove emby-server. is that enough?
Guest plexman Posted January 10, 2018 Posted January 10, 2018 Awesome! How do i purge the mono installation? i just did the sudo apt-get remove emby-server. is that enough?apt-get purge --autoremove emby-server With this, you not only uninstall the server, but also delete configuration files and remove extra dependencies no longer needed.
