DLNA Panasonic TV. MP4 not working

I see in the ffmpeg log that was from the custom profiles as it converted an avi to mkv.  So this test would need to be done on original profile.

As for twonky we would need to see there profile used for playback to compare.

But googling is showing "there's no sound for MOV/MP4 files with AAC audio, despite the claims from the Panasonic manual that AAC is supported".  So there is probably going to be a lot of testing required. (serviio and plex)

File loaded into dashboard.

mp4 files did not work.

btw. is it necessary to select an User library for the custom profile?

Only if you want to limit the DNLA device to the restrictions of a specific user.

What does doesn't work mean?  Is it just a TV error?  Please post logs.

All those files are now tagged as "mkv".

All those files can be played BUT horrible. Plays 2 seconds then horrible stutter, double images and after those 2-3 seconds the image is standing still. Not possible to press pause not possible to fast forward.

Ok test changing the transcode method.

Go to the custom profile in dashboard

click Transcoding tab then click on the Video Protocol

Then changing it to ts click ok then save and try to play something.

Then do the same thing trying mp4.
