Problem with the update of thumbnail.

Hello !

 

I have a little problem with the refresh of the picture of the directory.

 

I add a file in the directory, Emby generate metadata, pics art and generate the same image for the directory. But, when a delete or move the file, the directory keep the image of the movie !

 

Do you have the same problem ?

I have found to generate manually the refresh !

 

But, where is the parameter to automate the process ?

Hi @@blastbass I don't quite understand the question? What exactly are you looking to automate? Because you already confirmed:

No, the problem is the deletion.

 

When i delete the film previously added, the thumbnail persist on the directory. No refresh of the directory thumbnail. But if y add a new film, no problem, the thumnail is added on the directory thumbnail.

 

Look this snapshot:

 

On the left, you can see 4 thumbnail of my films previously added AND deleted.

On the right you can see the content of the folder, no film (because i've deleted all film)

If Emby refresh well, there would be no more image in the thumbnail of the directory. Is not a cache problem of my browser.

 

 

To update the directory thumbnail (and delete bad thumbnails), only one solution : refresh manually the metadata:

 

 

I confirm, i have checked the real time monitoring for this folder.

Yes I think the delete function could certainly be improved for a future release, thanks.
