jj-99 0 Posted May 11, 2016 Author Posted May 11, 2016 I understand not spending time on supporting an obsolete product - albeit quite common still... Any comments on not being able to fast forward in Chrome? ServerWMC interface? FYI: playback also works with Emby app on Roku 4 - and with forward and reverse apparently working. Any ETA on the DNLA bug fix in ServerWMC?
Luke 40091 Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 fast-forward and reverse for live tv is on the roadmap but not implemented in all apps yet. for recorded tv it's already supported.
krustyreturns 191 Posted May 11, 2016 Posted May 11, 2016 Any ETA on the DNLA bug fix in ServerWMC? I will put up a 'preview' release to fix the dlna problem today or tomorrow.
jj-99 0 Posted May 11, 2016 Author Posted May 11, 2016 I was reporting that FF in chrome with recorded TV didn't appear to work... Great news on the dnla fix - I will look out for it and report back. Thanks!

krustyreturns 191 Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 @@jj-99 I released a preview version (1230) that should fix this live-tv dlna bug. Let me know if it works.
jj-99 0 Posted May 12, 2016 Author Posted May 12, 2016 Great, it works! Thanks for your quick resolution!. Should I also enable "Use URLs instead of..." for Recorded TV playback under HTTP Services Tab, Emby-server? [Currently it is only checked for Live TV]
krustyreturns 191 Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Good. The setting you mentioned doesn't have any effect for live-tv since you are streaming live tv with dlna. As for recorded tv, giving emby direct file access is better then giving it a url to the file, so I'd leave it unchecked.
jj-99 0 Posted May 12, 2016 Author Posted May 12, 2016 OK - However, I should leave it checked for Live TV - as it says "recommended" (no direct access here or overwritten by dnla access anyhow)?
krustyreturns 191 Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Yeah, its overridden by enabling dlna mode for emby. Guess I could make that clearer...
