hedgehogg 104
The ability to rotate photos online would be a great asset (mainly as now some photos that are ok in other programs are wrong in MBS)

Deathsquirrel 741
I don't want the server having the ability to modify my photos at all. Mistakes happen and if there is any form of editing engine in that bit of code files could potentially be eaten. If photos don't render correctly that's a bug. hedgehogg 104
How about it being Optional?

srhaque 0
Hi, I've been looking around the Web App UI and the Metadata Manager, but don't see how to control the rotation. Has this been implemented, or perhaps the capability is not exposed where I have been looking? (Also, as per reply #3, my assumption is that this is a render-time thing, and that the file on disk is not modified by the rotation setting. Is that correct?). Thanks, Shaheed
Luke 37008
Emby will auto-rotate photos based on embedded orientation information. At the moment we do not have any photo editing features that allow changing this.
srhaque 0
Thanks for the quick reply. This sounds like exactly what I need. I guess I need a separate editor to edit what, EXIF tags?
