EduardoSantos 40 Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Tested on two android smartphones: Versions are 4.2.2 and 5.0.2 Video plays fine on both of them, subtitles are also supported correctly. Music plays fine on 5.0.2 but immediatly leads Emby to crash on 4.2.2. Attached are logs from server and both androids. Emby Android version is 2.3.80 on both 5.0.2 and 4.2.2 Emby Server version is 3.0.5675.1 Thanks android.app.4.2.2.log android.app.5.0.2.log server-63573588712.txt
Luke 40096 Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Does it give you an opportunity to send a crash log? please do that if so, thanks.
EduardoSantos 40 Posted July 31, 2015 Author Posted July 31, 2015 On emby/logs folder there is only one file wich I already attached. Is there any other means to get a crash log?
EduardoSantos 40 Posted August 7, 2015 Author Posted August 7, 2015 It never did. On the app's folder there is no crash subfolder. There is only the log I already attached.
sh0rty 551 Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 So how do you know it crashed? Also never had any Crashlog Prompt in the past. Just the system notification that Emby force closed. Only thing OP could do is run a logcat.
Vidman 590 Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 (edited) That system notification should have an option to send crash logs . I think the button is labelled "Report" in English Edited August 7, 2015 by Vidman
EduardoSantos 40 Posted August 23, 2015 Author Posted August 23, 2015 The app simply stops. There are no additional dialogs or saving options. As soon as I hit the play button, the app closes.
Solution EduardoSantos 40 Posted September 17, 2015 Author Solution Posted September 17, 2015 As of today, I am running Emby app version 2.4.13 and there is no problem on playing music.
