I am missing the folder images on my EHS for the Podcasts plugin.

The RSS feed is working fine, and it is pulling down the metadata for episode info and screenshots, but this missing folder image on the EHS is doing my head in.

Any suggestions on where to place a folder.jpg file or how to edit a config to solve this?

Cheers :)

Sorry I should have been clearer. The imagesbyname folder image is working OK and displays on the right hand side.

The images for the individual RSS feeds such as TED Talks are just blank. Sad panda. That's the folder/config I'm looking for :)

Those come from the feeds themselves but not all of them have them or point to them correctly.  You can use the IBN to provide your own, however as Tikuf gave you an example.

%appdata%\MediaBrowser-Server\ImagesByName\General\TedTalks (hd)\folder.jpg

Thanks guys. This IBN option *kind of* worked in that it allowed me to specify a backdrop.jpg for the TEDTalks (hd) podcasts however it still did not populate the EHS with the folder.jpg image.

Once you enter into the Podcasts section from the EHS it shows the folder.jpg fine (which it pulls from the feed not the one I specified) but on the EHS it does not display for some weird reason :(

On the Enhanced Home Screen, where you would normally see the folder.jpg images for your latest media file in that category, all I get is a blank folder image like so.

The folder.jpg on the right hand side to denote which category I am viewing is displaying correctly.

  • 2 years later...

The Podcasts plugin has been updated with a new configuration screen to match the look and feel of the rest of Emby Server. I think you'll find it much more enjoyable to use and configure now. Thanks.
