nhsman 4 Posted June 14, 2017 Share Posted June 14, 2017 Hi all, can you let me know how long does it take to sync channel logos using TVHeadend plugin. I have it installed and all channel and guide is synced at the moment, but no channel logos are displayed in Emby webif. Is there any setting that need to be enabled for logos to display? chattojimnow 9 Posted July 8, 2017 Share Posted July 8, 2017 @@nhsman look in settings and theres a section im using HTS TVheaded 4.0 its in Configuration- in picon setting and click prefer icons over channel names. you must have icons linked in the channel/epg user icon ive just put links to the icons. My TVh version is: 4.1-2458~g5ea10b5c3 I can see that I have connection in TVh and my Live TV in Emby looks like this: https://ctrlv.cz/BdqV But when I jumped to home and Live TV they're categories like "On Now" "TV shows" "Movies" "Sport" "For Kids" "News", but they're empty. I clicked on the upper bar on EPG, which is empty. Channels are also empty, but recordings are there. But it's weird. I have 30 recordings finished (no failed, maybe I removed them, can't remember), but Emby sees 128 recordings. Ill add it to feature request but if its on development list no point repeating it.. Also is there a chance or section ppl could add to the site to share icons images and tv icons etc..(im guessing this is the wrong thread to discuss this tho... The end date will getting larger than 23:59:59.9999999 UTC, December 31, 9999 in the Gregorian calendar with the value send from TVH. EDIT 2: I hopefully found a solution. Please use the version attached to this post! 2) Emby is not calling TVH for new data. Please - stop emby - do step 1) - wait at least 1h - check the tasks page of emby if the "Refresh Guide" was running and how long it took. - it is still running wait until it finishes - if it was nor running start it manually Do you have configured other Live-TV data sources? So that's my fault, but you could tell me, which version is in that file, which you uploaded here. So I could check if I did it right. Refresh Guide wasn't running and when I click on "Refresh Guide Data" button it took something around 5 secs. When I choose from left menu: Live TV There are two possibilities: 1) Add tuner Tuner type: - HD Homerum - M3U tuner - Other -> Detect my devices: none and for additional live tv providers click on Services tab 2) Add guide provider - Schedules Direct: requires account (which I dont have and I doubt that I need it) - Xml TV: not filled file or url for xml (and I'm not sure if I need it. I dont think so. That's why I tried to choose third opinion, which is Other) - Other -> Alert -> I should check Services tab. Ok I switched to Services tab and there I have installed services and there is only tvheadend and there are 3 dots and there is only settings (where can I set IP address for tvheadend,http/hstp port and so on) and uninstall. Nothing that I could add guide provider.I also checked help, but it didn't help me. So honestly I don't know how to configure it and I'm thinking that I need maybe Emby premiere or my Tvheadend version Tvheadend 4.1-2458~g5ea10b5c3 from 12/3/2017 isn't compatible ? In the logs I see the plugin is connected to your TVH-server but Emby is not calling the getChannels and getEvents methods. The plugin is only a passive bridge between Emby and TVH - if no method is called from Emby internally i can't give any furter support. @@Luke Do you have any ideas what can be the reason the channels are not read? In Kodi I installed only pvr plugin called: "Tvheadend HTSP Client" edited connection settings and that's all. I expected (and still expect) that it should be same in this plugin for Emby.I don't use any epg grabber. When you tell how to setup the guide data in tvheadend to be available for Emby I'll try it to do.
