Still allows for a readable "e". However if emby was to standalone, then it would need to be full, because it will be unreadable without the "context" of the arrow. With many cable, mobile and broadband companies trying to provide Quad and/or triple play services for consumers, Emby provides a service that is open source and unites all the platforms together. Emby is more than a video player, media center and more than a media server. Its a community of people working together to bring your media to you in the most attractive and flexible way possible. Certainly didnt consider other logo designs when creating this draft. Its an Interesting correlation but a very long stretch even for PLEX. Reasons: The design is more 3 dimensional in shape and has a core emphasis on the universal play symbol. The main colors of Emby are Green and Blue and it will be hard pressed for them to draw direct comparisons. PLEX is often shown with its logo integrated with its name or the letter X within its name.This logo will always be a separate entity to the name Emby. PLEX is almost always displayed with a shade of Grey-black-brown. This logo isn't restricted to a particular back-drop for branding because its use of negative space makes it versatile on any background. I especially like the bottom right, two-toned (blue and green) version I think that one of your design would give the most play for a salute to the old but a hard press on into the future. I can see @@ebr's point about the similarity at the same time I do think it's significantly different. Andrewbee, I think a way to further diversify your design from the others but taking in some other designs. You think you could pixelate the top portion of your logo? Kinda like @@chef's logo early on in the process. I think that may help unless the core devs would just want to move on altogether. Either way, I like the design a lot.
