How "Instant" is the Trakt Plugin?

The more data you give back to me the more baffled I am that this isn't working for you. Sticking with Dexter, the log message

 

Failed to match show Episode: 1x7 'Circle of Friends' Series: 'Dexter'

 

 

means that neither the local IMDB Id or TheTVDB Id at the Series level of Dexter's metadata could be matched to the values from Trakt.tv. 

 

Trakt provides this for Dexter.

If you go into the MB metadata manager and look at the Id's for this show, are they filled out and do they match the values from trakt.tv?

If you mark as unwatched in MediaBrowser Server and then sync your library to Trakt, it will mark the content as unwatched.

That's correct. You'll either have to fix them on trakt or run the sync to trakt task

 

Running sync to trakt will unwatch stuff on trakt...

I'm not sure if I like the separation of watched items from your collection. I'm guessing their reasoning behind it is that you can add stuff you've watched but don't own. In fact I've got a friend that does that very thing. Doesn't own any movies but constantly updates with what he's seen in the theater or at friends homes.

 

Well stuff seem to work now when i fixed the collection problem on trakt.
