Hi,

I can't enable user playlists under Users > User > Access > Playlists

The option appears greyed out with all users.

Don't have that version but current versions that option can not be disabled. Only /data/playlist is check/uncheckable.

4.8.7.0/4.9.0.20

But can only guess something broke during the migrations to 4.8.

But I replicated the issue via dev console as the field is Disabled by default to prevent changes.

So you would have to delete the disabled apply your setting and save and refresh page to automatically reapply Disabled.  As it is not suppose to be configurable as it is required per user.

Hi, there is no enabling of this necessary.

What are you trying to accomplish?

So if the option is unchecked user has no access to user playlists?

But since the option is technically disabled from change what should a user do is the option is unchecked?

The check state for that one doesn't matter. It should probably just be hidden from the screen.

I was wanting to enable it as I thought it was disabled.

So, for clarification... user playlists are actually enabled by default and the setting is irrelevant?

Right it’s a special folder with its own rules. A user will always be able to see their own personal playlists.
