Deleting content while Kodi is running uses the realtime websocket connection.

Deleting content while Kodi is offline uses the kodi-companion plugin (after Kodi start).

So in your case, the startup-sync seems to have an issue.

You could try to set the "Incremental sync date" in plugins config menu -> sync -> incremental sync date.

Set it to a date before the content was deleted (but not too far in the past).

If this still doesn't work, it could be an issue with Kodi companion or something else.

For review I need a kodi.log where you set the sync date back (if the issue is not solved).

2 -> When kodi is open, movie is add but trailers is not refresh ( trailer is add 5mn after meta by emby Ytrailer pluggin ) - I waiting 15mn
       if movie is already add when i re open kodi, no refresh for trailer / Only solution, i must refresh data on emby

Well, I assume Emby server is not reporting the changes. If so, there is nothing I could do from plugin side. Currently I'm running tests...

According to my tests, Emby server is not reporting the changes. There is nothing from plugin side I could do.

Hi, I've run into another issue.
I have two versions of the same episode, like 1080p and 2160p.
When I delete the 1080p file, in Emby, there is still one version remaining, but in e4k, both are deleted.

I run a quick test, works fine here. How did you delete the multiversion? I could imagine, the remaining movie was also modified (metadata change)?

My issue is with TV series. I noticed this problem on my Sony TV, and I can replicate it on PC as well. Here are my testing steps:

1. Make a copy of the same episode of the TV series, name it with "1080p," and wait for Emby to finish scraping.
The file directory structure looks like this:

The kodi.log reports a deleted episode. I only checked with movies. I'll check again with tvshow content...

I'm running kodi 21 via a coreelec nightly and I'm seeing embyforkodi 10.0.13 not updating widgets / lists after a media file finishes playing.  So for example if I watch a TV episode the "EMBY: Continue Watching (Mixed Content)" does not update to show that episode has played and move to the next one.  I've seen the same issue with movies not being marked as watched in the new movies list or disappear in the new movies unwatched list.

Running embycon side by side on the same coreelec it's widgets do update correctly. 

Restarting kodi brings the embyforkodi widgets up to date.  I've also browsed into the synced lists in the plugin itself and seem the seem out of date information.

What logs am I supposed to enable / look at for this?

Also, does the emby "kodi companion" plugin still have a purpose?  I'm not even sure which emby kodi flavor it is or was used for.

You can send me a kodi.log for review, maybe I see something but first, try default skin.

Yes I played on the same device were the widgets were not updated.  It could be a kodi/skin bug but it's not an embycon collision as I installed embycon after the behavior became annoying to see if it worked better.

I'll try the default skin when I get a chance and let you know if it fixed it or not.

Ex: ( The Twilight Zone  la quatrième dimension ) use é. All directory with accents no working

Does Theme Media synchronize automatically after settings or must it be synchronized each time a tv show is added ?

Each time, there is no automatic sync at the moment. I put it on the todo list.

I checked and the plugin is compatible. However there is a strm file issue which seems to cause issues in latest Kodi versions. I'll fix it.

fyi Top Picks has issues with reporting progress info via API. The progress is not consistent between referenced movies.

I've had the same issue for a while and I've been meaning to report it. Now running on v9.4.19 with the issue: if there are two files/versions of a particular TV episode, if one file is deleted then Kodi looses the whole episode. Requires a Repair of the relevant TV library in the plugin to get the episode back in Kodi.

The delay until rollout is fine it is quite an edge case, but something that happens for me quite a bit, when a superior format version of a particular TV episode gets added and an older format gets deleted. But now I know that when this happens, I need to go to Kodi and Repair the Library before sitting down to watch the episode, so that I don't have to wait several minutes for it to sort itself out  So I have a workaround "process".

Just curious: the 9.x.x release thread says that 9.4.19 is Beta, and 9.4.15 is Stable. Is that still the case? Or is 9.4.19 now rated Stable?

Ups, I fixed it. .19 is stable abnd .20 is beta.

But you can try 10.X, the issue should be solved by this version. Usually public testing has no major bugs in standard functionalities. Only new added features are not too good tested.
