mike3821 66 Posted March 14, 2023 Posted March 14, 2023 (edited) Is there something wrong with Emby guide sources? Woke up this morning and I’m not able to pull Emby guide data… I noticed there was an Emby guide app update pushed yesterday too. Edited March 14, 2023 by mike3821
mike3821 66 Posted March 14, 2023 Author Posted March 14, 2023 I’m currently experiencing this issue.
Luke 38841 Posted March 14, 2023 Posted March 14, 2023 Hi @mike3821 can you please describe the issue that you're having? How to Report a Problem Thanks !

It may not be exact. I woke up today with zero guide info. Nothing has changed on my part except for a Emby restart because of updates pushed to it including a guide app update from Emby. I have gone through my source and channel sources and tried clicking save. I have even added a brand new guide source and nothing happens when it apparently downloads. You see the progress bar for 5 seconds and then it stops. Edited March 14, 2023 by mike3821
Luke 38841 Posted March 14, 2023 Posted March 14, 2023 Please try refreshing the guide data and then attach the emby server log. Thanks.

mike3821 66 Posted March 14, 2023 Author Posted March 14, 2023 (edited) Odd. I haven’t changed a thing. I’m wondering if you see that in the log as of now because I’ve attempted several times. Every 6 hours. The channel guide source is Emby though. Edited March 14, 2023 by mike3821

The guide source is Emby, but the problem is the channel source, not the guide source. You may need to lower that frequency. For reference, the default is 24 hours.

Luke 38841 Posted March 14, 2023 Posted March 14, 2023 Quote Skipping getting programs for channel 4.3-Me TV from Emby Guide Data-CAN-0005604-X, because it's not enabled for this tuner You may want to check the options for each guide source and make sure the guide source is enabled for the appropriate tuners. Maybe you removed and re-added your tuner? That may have caused this.

I don't see it in the most recent log, but if this is something that might come up again then I would probably still suggest reducing the frequency of the guide refresh. Having it every six hours seems a little aggressive.

That's what I just did with the same results. Every channel has 0 programs. I've made changes regarding frequency. This hasn't been an issue but probably best practise. This started after the most recent Emby Guide App update which was pushed yesterday.

Can you show a screenshot of the options for each one?

mike3821 66 Posted March 15, 2023 Author Posted March 15, 2023 Just wanted to drop in and let you know guide data started populating late yesterday with no changes on my part.

mike3821 66 Posted April 7, 2023 Author Posted April 7, 2023 I can't see why it's not getting data. Very frustrating. Where does emby reach out for guide data? I'd like to confirm no IPS or anything is taking place. Looking over my firewall, there is no indication of anything being blocked.
