Is there something wrong with Emby guide sources? Woke up this morning and I’m not able to pull Emby guide data…

I noticed there was an Emby guide app update pushed yesterday too.

Hi @mike3821 can you please describe the issue that you're having?

Thanks !

It may not be exact.

I woke up today with zero guide info. Nothing

has changed on my part except for a Emby restart because of updates pushed to it including a guide app update from Emby.

I have gone through my source and channel sources and tried clicking save. I have even added a brand new guide source and nothing happens when it apparently downloads.

You see the progress bar for 5 seconds and then it stops.

Odd. I haven’t changed a thing. I’m wondering if you see that in the log as of now because I’ve attempted several times.

Every 6 hours.

The channel guide source is Emby though.

The guide source is Emby, but the problem is the channel source, not the guide source. You may need to lower that frequency. For reference, the default is 24 hours.

Where are you seeing this in the log so I can verify.

Reason I ask, it won’t even update for my hdhomerun devices. OTA.

Here is what I'm seeing for one of my HDHomerun OTA channels. I get this for ALL channels.

To add it looks like Emby is reaching out to the following IP's for guide updates.

Skipping getting programs for channel 4.3-Me TV from Emby Guide Data-CAN-0005604-X, because it's not enabled for this tuner

You may want to check the options for each guide source and make sure the guide source is enabled for the appropriate tuners.

Maybe you removed and re-added your tuner? That may have caused this.

Take a look at my recent log and see if you see anything. I’m not seeing this as of now. Can verify?

I haven’t removed or changed anything in a while. There is 3 guide sources. It shows which one it uses.

Correct. I don't see it in the most recent log, but if this is something that might come up again then I would probably still suggest reducing the frequency of the guide refresh. Having it every six hours seems a little aggressive.

OK, I would still click into each guide source and make sure the guide source is enabled for the appropriate tuners.

That's what I just did with the same results. Every channel has 0 programs.

I've made changes regarding frequency. This hasn't been an issue but probably best practise.

This started after the most recent Emby Guide App update which was pushed yesterday.

How many guide sources do you have configured? Can you show a screenshot of the options for each one?

That's interesting. Thanks for the feedback.

Schedule live update kicked off and no guide data again. A manual update just finished in seconds.

Nothing has changed.

I can't see why it's not getting data. Very frustrating.

Where does emby reach out for guide data? I'd like to confirm no IPS or anything is taking place.

Looking over my firewall, there is no indication of anything being blocked.
