No Channels showing up with m3u from OpenATV

Hello,

im using a Enigma2 receiver with OpenATV 7.x. I created a *.m3u8 from the OpenWebIF-Plugin. (see screenshot)

If i copy the m3u8 file to my Synology DS720+ and add it in Emby as a M3U-Tuner, i can´t see any channels. On my Windows 11 Computer with e.g. VLCplayer its working just fine.

 

Can someone tell me, what am I doing wrong?

HI, try running the refresh guide scheduled task. If there's still an issue after that, then please attach the emby server log.

Hi Luke,

I did that already a few times and there was no change. But i managed to do it! I deleted the XMLTV configuration. After that i saw my channels and I also was able to watch TV.

After that I added the XMLTV-File (generated with easyEPG) again and it is still working now.

The only "problem" now is, that I need to add on every single program the logo (picon) and I need to assign the EPG on every single program. Hard work, but it is working now.

You should not have to, openwebif loads the picons for you on emby I can see it right in the links, also you should be adding a password to that 4K box if you have not done so already http://user:pass@192.168.178.123:8001/playlist.m3u8 and those 4K boxes are pretty

Thanks for the info.  I already set a password now. But im using hrtunerproxy on my box now. On Emby i installed the HDHomerun-Plugin and connected it to my box. Working fine now. And yes, EPG comes with easyEPG running on Docker on my Synology DS720+. So I´m fine now.
