Emby with Subscription, has issue with playback of 4K HEVC

I have been using EMBY as media server for a long time. it runs on a Qnap ts-453be 8GB ram

I use it for my DVD and Blue rays, which I watch on Apple devices 

Lately I started buying 4K Blue rays, and ripping them with makeMKV.

But here is where the problem starts.

So I have premium  Subs and run playback from EMBY client apps or MRMC (KODI for Apple).

99.8% of content in 4K starts buffering or stop playback after some sec. in any EMBY player.

AppleTV, Ipad or Iphone.

I have tried with or without transcoding, By setting the user up to no transcoding.

 

I have also setting EMBY server into MRMC, and here playback has no problem.

All 4K ripped movies playback fine.

 

Why does MRMC playback fine, but the EMBY client stutters and buffers?

Thank you for your understanding, I'm new here.

 

So I tried with more information and added the log file.

All playback was done on AppleTV 4K - the EMBY server is still running on Qnap ts-453be 8GB ram.

First I played Batman in the EMBY app, and here I get stutters right a way, and freezes multiple times

I stop playback on EMBY

Then I start the same movie, Batman in MRMC (Kodi for Apple) on stuttering or freezes.

Again stop the playback

Then I also try Ant-man and the Wasp, same results Emby player stutters, but no freezes, but on MRMC no stutter

 

For Batman on EMPY, playback was started at timecode: 2022-08-08 15:41:03.822

And ended: 2022-08-08 15:42:06.947 

For Batman on MRMC was started at this timecode: 2022-08-08 15:43:12.418 

And ended: 2022-08-08 15:43:58.320

 

For Ant-man & the Wasp on EMPY, playback was started at timecode: 2022-08-08 15:45:15.288

And ended: 2022-08-08 15:45:36.662 

For Ant-man & the wasp on MRMC was started at this timecode: 2022-08-08 15:45:49.558

And ended: 2022-08-08 15:46:15.225

Relief is coming soon because the iOS app is about to get an automatic switch to the native player whenever possible. And then after that will be ported into the Apple TV app.
