Hi

I updated to version 4.8.0.42 - Android

Unfortunately, it won't log me in from my PC (Win10) - same IP (fixed).

After all the updates to date, this is the first time it's happened.

I checked my settings and can't find anything wrong.

It's running on Android box and will allow me to login via its browser.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks

What exactly do you mean by won’t log you in? Won’t log you in where exactly?

I get message that page - IP address and port /home (I'm paraphrasing) can't be accessed or has moved. Unfortunately, we are experiencing a power failure currently so can't access pc. Moment power is restored, I'll try again and post exact message.

Ps Emby IP address is fixed.

Here is a pic of the screen that I used to access via my PC as admin - settings.

Shows the web address as wellEmby server file trying to download 10min.jpg.

Here is the error I'm getting.

Address corresponds exactly with the address on the server.

The 192.168.1.9 ip address, is that your PC or your android device?

Hi Guys

Good evening.

Problem solved. The latest version of Microsoft Edge unbeknown to me, has a built-in VPN which was blocking access to my Emby server!

As I had just updated the server, I thought there was a problem there. So sorry for that.

For those interested, go to this section in Edge: Privacy, search, and services/ Secure Network sites & exceptions

Hope this clears it up

Enjoy weekend

Hi All.

Version 4.8.0.47 beta

Latest updates seemed to work well. Media DB's updated automatically.

But now, I get the message on the LG TV Emby app, and the PC Emby Web "No compatible streams are currently available" again.

Yet, if you look at the activity, it says the movie, or music has been playing.

Previously it was resolved by naming the libraries using the Ip address on Luke's advice.

I don't want to have to delete all the libraries and re scan them every time I want to play a movie.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

At some stage, I had looked at it, but to no avail.

As you know, Android TV boxes are a mind field, especially finding the correct update and manufacturer.

I will try again.

Thanks

Will do.

Currently looking - need to find the right manufacturer and compatible firmware.

I'll keep you posted.

I also want to get it working seamlessly.

Hi, yes I have tough news to depart to you, which is that we have to raise the minimum required android version on the server to 9.
