I think the 'handshake' between the devices plays a large part in this - some devices seem to 'recover' better (I use a Denon AVR for example), while other devices struggle and need a resync. The other aspect might be that the player is needing to extract the DTS Core from the DTS-HD because it can't natively play it - and it is this process where it is failing. I use Denon also, X3800H. lukeholderness 0 Posted April 7, 2023 Share Posted April 7, 2023 I have the same problem - been ignoring it for a while but more DTS releases make this a more pressing matter. Sideloading the standard android app makes no difference for me. The error is stuttering when resuming any files with DTS audio. A quick rewind makes it work but can't see why this is happening. I had the same issue when I'm playing mkv with DTS-HD files...it's very laggy I tried the standard android, everything works fine~~ I can play mkv with trueHD, atmos, DTS-HD bitstream to amp perfectly.
