From web dashboard

Go to your device menu and click on your mobile device.

You'll notice the URL in the browser change with an id=

Copy the id shown after the = sign and post that here.

BTW, turn off debug logging as you only want that turned on when asked as it makes reading log files hard.

No issues on my iPhone.  But there is a UI issue.

But then it jumped to 64.5%.

But is does look like there is a issue with Original quality.

But phone download shows this gradually climbing.

2021-08-04 00:36:14.680 Debug App: Notifying target 3f51ccfc99413bd9 that downloads are ready

OK so your ID does match the server.  The server has notified the client that a download(s) is ready to transfer.
So it's likely safe to assume the server has done it's thing and now is waiting on the client.

What client version of software are you currently running?
Have you tried stopping the client app (close then force close it) and then restarting it?
That may kick off the transfer.

Just curious, Is your phone on the same LAN right now as the server?

Whatever the latest one is, I assume.

Yeah, they're on the same LAN. Although I think the connection is a remote one.

Can you look and tell us the exact version please of the client?

I don't understand what this means. If the client and server are on the same LAN (same IP address space) this should be a local connection and not remote.

If I type in the domain and connect that way, it's a remote connection no matter what LAN the phone is on.

It's version 3.2.05.

Thanks crusher11.

Please try this using the local server IP/port combo.  That will make it

app->server

vs

app->cloudflare->gninx->server

That will rule out interference from any type of proxy.

Weird.

What specifically did you do differently?

You didn't try local http vs domain avoiding cloudflare and nginx?

So previously you were using your domain which could allow either cloudflare or nginx to filter or block the download or the notification.

When you remove the domain and login locally you bypass both and talk directly to the Emby Server.

And now it's broken again. So that's fun.

The other user is trying to download something and it's stuck at "Ready to transfer", after the conversion has completed.

Not sure what to say but if it works when connecting directly but not when going through your proxies then this is likely where you need to look test.
