Shuffling a large playlist won't select songs later in the playlist?
Scarface1 posted a topic in General/Windows
I have a very long playlist, with 2000+ songs (I listen to a lot of music, okay) and I've noticed that once you hit Shuffle, the list of queued songs only goes up to around 1000. Fair enough, but I've noticed even after multiple shuffles that songs later on in the playlist aren't sampled by the shuffle. It's much more apparent when sorting by Title instead of Playlist Order, because all the songs in the queue have letters in the first half of the alphabet. Basically it results in me only hearing the first half of my long playlist whenever I shuffle it, which is a shame because I'd like to hear my newly added stuff also. Any ideas for a solution or a fix? If you need any more information just ask. Thanks. -
My problem is that the "Play All" / "Play All From Here" / "Shuffle Play" functions in MediaBrowser Classic won't work after Functionaltity Update 1803 on Windows 10. Not working in MCE on the Server, not working on Windows 7 client MCE. The normal play function works with all my content. Windows Update came yesterday on 18th of May 2018 and before I updated Windows it worked perfectly and all my emby software was up to date with the newest awailable releases (no betas). "Play All" works only with webbrowser. Has anybody an idea? Log.txt (Sorry, maybe someone could move this topic to "Emby for WMC", thanks)

Media Browser Classic 3.0.224.0, but I've seen this for a while and am just getting around to looking into it. In the mornings the kids generally tell me what show they want to watch, I got to the cover for that show, hit play, and choose shuffle. Then I go get ready while it plays random episodes. Except that starting a while ago, when it starts playing the 2nd episode, the episode plays but the video is not visible, instead it shows the Media Browser screen and will eventually go to screen saver. I can hear the audio, and if I hit "back" and back out to Now Playing, the episode is playing correctly. But there seems to be a bug in how it is showing the Media Browser interface instead of the video of the show.
