I am unable to get subtitles stored in external .srt files to display on my Roku streaming stick, I'm using Emby Beta Channel because the Beta version corrected the onerous screen flicker issue. I've tried all the user options for subtitles on the server: - Default - smart - Only forced subtitles - always play subtitles - no subtitles. None of these work. Subtitles embedded using ffmpeg display ok. Am I missing some setting or is this a beta problem? Any suggestion is appreciated.
I use Emby Beta for Roku and used to have thumbnails for the actors in a given episode or movie at the bottom of the page on my dashboard, but now I have detailed medai info at the bottom of the pages for each episode or movie and no actor thumbnails. These thumbnails would show other episodes and movies that I have with the same actor in them. How do I get these back?
TehEpikDuckeh posted a topic in Apple TVHi, whenever I am playing a TV Show (and possibly movies, haven't tested) and I skip ahead to, let's say, 20 minutes, the time stamp on Emby's dashboard doesn't match up; it'll be ~40 seconds to a good minute off. So, 20 minutes that's shown on screen will say ~21-22 minutes on the dashboard. Now, let's say you're 20 minutes in (dashboard says 21) and you were to stop playing the video and do something else, then you'd come back and resume the content, it'll put you to that 21 minutes that the dashboard says. This difference seems to get worse every time you skip ahead/behind. Attached are the logs from FFMpeg and the server.
