Hi, that is correct. This is currently not possible, but it does come up every now and then and is possible for future updates. Thanks.

I read this and it seems to want all versions to be in the same folder. This presents a problem when running two Arr apps, one for HD and a second for 4k. So I was trying to understand if this will also work as “supported”. /movies/hd/Awesome Movie (1986)/Awesome Movie 1986 - 1080p.mkv /movies/4k/Awesome Movie (1986)/Awesome Movie 1986 - 2160p.mkv I would add /movies as one library.

Hi, what subtitle track was selected prior to starting playback? What subtitle format is it? Regarding downloading, have you taken a look at: Automatic Subtitle Downloads Manual Subtitle Downloads
-
Hi, if you use a supported folder structure for multi version then yes: Movie Naming
-
Sorry, I have manually merged versions from a few movies. I was trying to find out if I use the folder structure I showed in my post above if Emby will automatically merge the versions under one movie. Currently I have two movie library folders as separate shares on my NAS and I will move the contents into the folder structure that I listed above and rescan to create a single library with versions if it’s expected to work that way.

And yes I have checked the time and date on pc. It is set to cst time.

Fails to load ever on Android TV

Hi, music and video are going to be different. Forcing one to be like the other will lead to a subpar experience.

Same series but extended version is not recognized by Emby
Happy2Play replied to MacGyver27's topic in Emby Theater
You would disable the option on the library, note it will apply to all Shows. But note since playback is tracked by providerid all these items will appear twice in Continue Watching/Next Up and watching one will watch both. -
+1 for adding this to schedule and into db cache.

Ok we’ll take a look at it. Thanks.

Hi, have you checked all of the external ids, both at the series and episode levels?
-
Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!

Luke replied to MacGyver27's topic in Emby Theater
Hi, is it merged in Emby server? -
How did you setup the library in Emby server? Pointing to what folder and what content type?
-
Hi, what about on the host machine?

Playback error, no compatible streams available
Riptide126 replied to Riptide126's topic in General/Windows
No, only a hardware detection log, I will attach it hardware_detection-63851745945.txt -
Hi, is this only an issue on audio only channels?

Issues with very few or no images being downloaded
Happy2Play replied to Crarbo1's topic in General/Windows
Would need to see server log for a refresh of a specific example or when it the shows where first added to library. But will guess quering provider metadata failed. What is your library provider settings for metadata and images? -
Hi, we work very hard on Emby and we thank you for your support.
-
Hi there, can you please describe your issue in more detail? Thanks.

For the same 4K file, it doesn't even play with hardware transcoding disabled. The logs show error "ProcessRun 'StreamTranscode 1adbae' Process exited with code 137 - Failed" which appears to be ffmpeg being killed for consuming too many resources. If I try comparing with a 1080p file, the CPU will be pegged around 70%-80% without hardware encoding and around 40-50% with hardware encoding.
