Hi Luke. The screen showing both was just to main movies library page. I found the cause and a little workaround for this issue although I don't think it's a permanent fix. My library location is set to D:/Emby/movies/movie_name. When movies are added, they are first temporarily saved to the root of D:/ and then copied over to the correct Emby folder. So while I didn't at first mind having the file duplicates on my drive.. it was confusing that Emby picked it up when it should only be indexing the Emby library folder and not the entire drive. The fix was to manually go through and delete the temp files in the root of D:/ and refresh the index. Thanks!

Possible in the future is not particularly hopeful, given the length of time that sometimes suggests around here. I'd much prefer "fixed in the next version," personally.

Hi, have you setup https for your emby server? if yes, then the Samsung TV could be rejecting your certificate. It is very picky about what certificates it will accept.

Can it be that Emby stops recording when the connection to the stream is briefly interrupted, contrary to the information in the EPG?

I'd like to add that I just tested. If I retrieve files from the Fiio R7 Emby server and send them to the FGiio R7 As a renderer, it sends the files in .flac with correct sample and res... So the rpoblem seems to be the Emby client.

You can see if a device is playing live TV, if it is doing HW transcode, if it is downloading files, etc. premiere functions at that very moment. What sense does it make to excuse that it is for privacy/security when a count could be made if you are aware of the use of each one 24 hours a day? Find a better excuse

Speechles was misinformed on his timing of the issue. The issue in that thread has only been seen recently and it is some sort of rendering anomaly in the Roku. We think we've found a work around for the next release.

The app is not aware of how the item is transcoding so, no, that does not factor into the limit count.

Plays videos when connected on WiFi but when turn off WiFi just buffers. Great connection to the internet everything is open like the cellular data. Don’t get it why it’s doing this?

Yes this behavior makes perfect sense. However it seems to actually be doing something like this (given the time taken per movie, and the log): -Client wakes from sleep (Kodi already running) -Ask Emby server for updates -n number of Movies need to update (for what it's worth - this seems to be mainly Subtitle downloads right now, as the library is not significantly changing otherwise) -update Movie metadata -evaluate need to update Boxsets for this movie -> always returns "you need to update ALL boxsets" # bug? -update ALL boxsets, add relevant movies to each, move to next movie in queue Let me see if I can change the movie library significantly enough to trigger an update on Kodi, and then we can try to better prove my theory. I will also move over to the 10.x.x branch.
