Hmm i tried adding something like "Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *" to the nginx configuration which make it score A+ again. But despite i would say this setting doesn't do much there are some clients, mostly Apple and/or slow internet connections which have problems, keeping buffering or not able to log in anymore... -
Buenas, Antes escuchaba música mp3 desde Chromecast con Google TV y, también las canciones temáticas de las series, pero desde las versión 4.8 no reproduce, la versión de emby instalada en android tv es la que está disponible actualmente 2.1.10g, he probado a desinstalar e instalar, pero sigue sin reproducir. He probado en dos TV distintas con distintos Chromecast con Google TV sin éxito. Version emby 4.8.7.0. En el móvil y tablet reproduce sin problemas. Saludos.

Switched to emby on shield but can't error can't download server apk

Hi thought I would give emby a go on my shield, but I follow emby online instructions using downloader apk to download server apk, but during install process it says "apk not downloaded" I tried also using browser to download file, and transferring file from mobile to xplorer apk to download. Get same error every time. Ive tried transferring server apk to my mounted USB shield storage as don't have root access. Any help please be much appreciated -
Bump, I upgraded to the beta version of emby and am still seeing problems. I am also using the WebClient for playback when it happens.

OK, I've done that. Now I can get past the unlock app, but when I try & pay it repeatedly says; "An error occurred while processing your purchase" This occurred initially after entering payment details , but now on clicking "verify & pay" - Today

Hello, I am running emby server v4.8.5.0 in container, and I am having problems in streaming a few internet radios via m3u8 streams in strm files. This is happening only in the android app, while the same streams are being played with no error via the web app (tested with firefox browser, both mobile and desktop). This is a nice idea but there are some factors that have to be taken into account. How old is the guest? (G/PG/MA/etc..). How would you decide what they have access to (movie, tv libs/live tv/virtual tv/etc..). With a self hosted server like emby it gets a complicated in that regard.

Bonjour, Sur l'application mobile Android (emby for Android v 3.3.86) lorsque l'on clique sur le bouton "Recherche" on retrouve une liste de suggestion de films. Hors dans cette liste s'affiche des films provenant de médiathèques dont l'utilisateur n'a pas accès. En temps normal. Exemple: l'utilisateur parent1 peut acceder aux médiathèques "film" , "série", "animé". L'utilisateur enfant1 peut accéder uniquement à la médiathèque "animé". Lorsque l'utilisateur enfant1 va dans les recherches il retrouve en suggestions des films provenant de la médiathèque "film" dont il n'a pas accès et peut le lancer tout de même. Pour information parent1 et enfant1 se connectent tous les deux sur le même smartphone.

The search behaviour is kinda weird. If I search for 1, 2 or 3 characters (take Smith for example), s, sm, smi. They all return a maximum of 50 results. As soon as you hit 4 letters it seems all limits are removed. Smit returned 700 results which I'm guessing is ALL the Smiths.

Yes, I agree. Will be great if there will be Guest Mode available. With feature that will ask guest if he want to clean data when he leave Emby. Regards

yes, we first did auto detect then entered the address manually, and the error persisted. I should mention that I just updated the server to 4.8.7.0 today. -
Netfilx has one account, sure you can have a few profiles depending on how big your family is. Also netfilx will always present you with a selection of profiles (Who's Watching) to log into, it will never just load the last profile used! I'm not sure what you said makes any sense where emby is concerned.

If the Emby team can't fix this issue for technical reasons for the time being, I think it would be better to force the emby app to transcode the video when it detects IOS + hdr (hdr10, DV). That would be better than Direct Play + weird green video. Additionally, this issue does not occur in the MAC Emby app.

To help an Auto Organize you should include an ID. Since I moved to this naming scheme I have not had one mismatch.
