Atualizei o Emby na Tv para a ultima versão disponível e mesmo logando com usuarios diferentes o problema persiste. Fiz uma pesquisa e constatei que e um problema que o Sistema Roku apresenta e inclusive outros APPs dela já passaram por isso. Realizei todos os procedimentos ensinados em videos no Youtube mas não obtive sucesso. Minha dúvida seria se existiria algum procedimento a ser feito no servidor para de fato evitar este problema mas acredito que seja um problema da Roku Tv e não do Emby. Todos os clientes com Roku Tv estão sem utilizar o meu serviço do Emby, simplesmente TODOS!

So this is an issue at the Roku OS level, not in Emby, correct?

I think the player title names is being parsed by the same code that creates the audio / video and subtitles fields in the media page pull down. Video resolutions has the media name removed and only shows what comes after a dash: Batman - 720P.mp4 Batman - 1080P.mp4 Only appears as: 720P 1080P in the media page pull down selections. Similar truncation happens with audio and subtitles. This regex or similar text truncating, somewhere in the code, is also handling the player titles and it doesn't need to do this. On top of this, there is no easy way to rescan and update these titles after the file name of the trailers are updated. The rescan just skips looking at the trailer titles. <h1 class="videoOsdParentTitle videoOsdParentTitle-large osdText-nowrap">- Locke and Key TV series trailer</h1> Maybe in videooosd/videoosd.js code. The ParentTitle is perhaps being split up like the other metadata info. There is no need. It's only the title and should match the file name and rescan should check a filename change and update correctly. It doesn't. You have to remove the trailers or turn them off by changing the extension to clear the cached name titles that appear in the player. videooosd/videoosd.js ... QA would miss checking this, because why would anyone look that deep? A player title appears, QA check is approved. Unless the user includes a dash, partenthetical or tilde the code maybe doesn't even notice an issue and delivers the complet title. Once I started using the dash in the title or put parenthesis around a year (2022), the cached titles gets made, chopped up and the only way to fix this title is to remove the file or change it's extension. QA misses this title caching quirk, becuase it's so random and rare to happen. Anyway, it's still user unfriendly, but really a small issue,. Thanks.

I didn’t know if that had something to do with the recordings. What logs do I need to add for the recording? And how do I clear those errors on this log?

Hi, I do have an Android TV and am experiencing the same issues. I have screensaver enabled. Now I select my audio and subtitle tracks and start watching a movie or series episode. When I pause the playback, the screensaver will start after a short while. After resume from the screensaver I will be back on the movie or episode screen and I can literally watch the audio and subtitle tracks resetting from my chosen values back to my default settings. I have enabled the option to keep the last played audio and subtitle tracks. It manages to keep the selected tracks even between episodes of a series. But it seems to be buggy, if the playback is interrupted by the screensaver.

OK thanks. I updated a test-lxc to 4.9.1.3 beta and it worked. I will wait for the release of a stable 4.9. Is it possible to integrate a settings-area (maybe under network) for the SMB-credentials? If the media is given to emby via SMB we must enter these credentials for every single linked folder on every library and backups can't be done vie SMB because we can't enter the credentials in the choose-folder dialog in the backup-plugin because emby isn't showing an input mask. When saving the credentials just once in the settings vor an specified IP we only need to input these once and for changing the credentials we don't need to remove the folder on a library and add it with the new one.

At least, the plugin outcome looks awesome! I encourage everyone profiting from this to support such committed devs like @yockerand buy him a via his GH page. Or two! I just use it for HDR, Rating and IMAX as Tag. I just modified the image size to fit with the coverart plugin. In case someone finds the icons useful (I use MetroCase, EmbyIcons icon size: 8%):

Had that phenomenon also previously. The mjpeg embeddings are messing some things up sometimes, e.g. my PotPlayer is not able to play a file with mjpeg embeddings. Some Release Groups embed the cover into the file this way, but it's more of a hustle instead of a benefit (at least at my end).

just want to bump this because i now have a problem. emby worked fine til i changed the port in the network settings of emby server dashboard from 8096 to 9096. this broke after i restarted emby. now it's in a "deploying" state. i need to find the config file and make some modifications. i saw this thread: Where is the config file that holds the port mapping?; and, the person having the same problem said it was found at this location: "/var/lib/emby/config/system.xml in the LXC," and i read on there that the install location is "/var/lib/emby." however, my /var/lib is very different as it does not have the emby directory (and idk what LXC is). the screenshot show my /var/lib. and, no, i cannot log into emby to click on the 3 dots. i'm not used to linux directory structures nor it's install process. any help would be greatly appreicated. if this needs to be move to be it's own new thread, please do so. thanks.

Ah, I missed TagItems is in the ItemUpdateService. So I just leave the ID blank? Swagger shows it as [NameLongIdPair{ Name string Id integer($int64) }] I'm working with processed output via PowerShell so I'm seeing a hash table instead of raw, but it looks like each is stored as a set of name value pairs, each containing a Name and ID...so you're saying I can just submit Name=foo or just omit ID entirely when performing an update? I'm assuming I can send multiple values this way, and that the operation replaces what is there now? Or is it additive and I do each tag one at a time? so I guess I'm saying, would this be a valid JSON object for TagItems: "TagItems": { "name": "tag1", "name": "tag2" } or are you saying I could do: "TagItems": ["tag1", "tag2"] Thanks!

Yeah at home she uses that same roku device with internet to connect to my server. At her apartment however, as you said, I have another nuc running as a local instance that she can access over LAN. It worked last fall. I just can't figure out what's changed. I did NOT have a static ip (should do that), however I was able to ssh into that local server from my phone, when connected to the router via wifi. Used that same ip in the roku emby app. The problem starts though, with not even being able to connect to the router with the roku since the roku detects there is no internet. If I could connect it, I think all would be fine. And I was able to do it last fall. She used it for 6 months. Only thing that's changed is she brought that roku device back to her home and connected it to the internet there and in roku emby app connected to my server at my house.
