How expensive is it to apply? How often can you apply? If there is no huge cost in application beyond time spent filling it out and sending it in.... Basically I am asking if this is at all a priority. Like the thread makes it seem like you applied once and it went nowhere and then maybe you applied a second time. I could be way off and I don't mean to be rude, I am just hoping you guys are taking it that seriously. It is a major let down for plex to be better in this regard. Is there anything we can do in the community to help? Should we gather signatures and petition Sony. Who would be the best places to try and advocate for you guys? I assume there is something like that that we could do. Please help us help you help us :P. Some kind of petition/letter and social media campaign would probably be helpful that way sony has customers saying we want this and all you have to do is approve the emby folks. Anyway.

So because newest win 11 update corrupt my windows install i reinstall it. But my external HDD letters are scrambled around. Is there a way to find out which library point to which drive without running server ? Dont want mess it up.

I paid for the TV theme song plugin, but I have no TV theme songs playing... I rebooted server as well Anything I need to do?

Ok. I downloaded that one. I will start using it to see of its better. Version is higher. Is this version maintained more than the Android TV one or are the versioning schemes just off?

Nothing visual happens at all. I've tried it on my WIN 10 PC and iPad and I don't find any downloaded files in Downloads or Emby directories. Under the Download section of the dashboard, a thumbnail shows the downloaded movie, but no associated media that is playable. In the Settings section of downloads, Enable Full SPeed Conversion is checked.

Im not "an image embedded track" guy, so not speaking from experience/stake in the game... so personally i wouldnt miss the removal of custom track images (inheriting image from album works for me) presumably its a rare case for someone to have embedded track images but not want them and expect a change of album image in Emby to trickle down/overwrite embedded images....maybe the gold plated solution is to to have a non-default library option "read embedded image metadata" (i think thats in line with the existing option to use embedded title metadata) and establish it the users responsibility to more carefully manage their [embedded / in media folder album and track image] metadata offline ready from Emby to ingest if they wish to use that option. equally could leave as it is and just agree its the users responsibility to sort out their embedded metadata. This presumably affects very few people and there is a solution (sort out embedded metadata)

I deleted and requeued them, no luck. I then force restarted the iPad app and they finally went.

It's the links in the download section for truenas and freebsd theyre all beta versions. I've ised them all and they all install the beta version of emby not one is the official stable version

I just thought you might have had some other insights. It seems the recent couple of postings were suggesting that it was certainly not in the Emby catalog, and never was, but was available for download. But you seem to believe it is dead as suggested by others.

Hi, yes I see the issue. Fast forward is using the skip back length, so if you have them set for different values then that will be an issue. We'll get this resolved. Thanks.

I honestly do not recall. I'm pretty sure I used the IP address of the unRAID server with port 8086 for Emby. I set it up well over a year ago and don't remember what I used.

G'day Luke, Is there an updated subscene plugin that would work, as a slightly earlier post suggested there was not. Also the developer had suggested he was working on a new version, but I am not sure I have seen a subsequent posting from him suggesting that a new version was available. Jan

Hi, what exactly happens when you click it?

FWIW: I use Emby for much of every day. Mostly I watch content from Emby at night and I use movies to numb my brain for sleep. It works for me. I have never had Emby exit unexpectedly during playback. Of course the Roku app does exit after a time if it is inactive but that is a Roku enforced action and Emby has no real control over it. If any app is active and idle for a period of time (somewhere between 1 and 4 hours) Roku will cause it to exit. I do NOT like that behavior and I even argued against it when it was first introduced as I was part of the Roku beta process. MY arguments and nearly everyone that was not part of the Roku ecosystem went unheard by Roku. That also was when I found that Roku does not, although they did in the past, listen to their testers so I left the program. (It is amazing how hard they made it to get out of the beta) Now I almost never have an Emby crash (server or Roku) that is not triggered by usually a bad file. I do think Emby, when encountering a bad file, should not crash but it does from time to time. Not all bad files cause crashes but some do and even some (a very few) crash Emby but play in other apps. I think the described problem is file related and not really the fault of Emby. I love my Rokus (mainly the interface) but they do behave a little flaky at times.

Did you set the docker container to use the host network? Not familiar with the options on unraid but saw that's an option on TrueNAS Scale.
