Good morning, I can no longer play mp3 file, since Emby TV,Emby IOS,Emby Chrome Emby serveur 4.8.7.0

Unfortunately, it will not update, I have to uninstall emby and reinstall it each and every time. So, all settings, etc get lost and have to be rebuilt... Currently on the Samsung TV's running 1.8.1.... oh rapture, oh joy! Brett

Can anyone recommend a website where I can find bumpers for my own channels, other than YouTube and Vimeo? another question: Is it actually possible to prevent rewinding and fast-forwarding so that the user thinks it's really a LIVE channel or is that not possible in the API? I have seen at least once in another plugin that rewinding is prevented or does not work. Maybe you can somehow get this integrated into VirtualTV?

Is it possible to add that the theme is automatically set to the system theme as a theme option instead of selecting a dark/light theme using prefers-color-scheme media query? most likely a duplicate, but i am not the best at using this forum search

I think that the developer needs to set up links with the Android TV interface to ensure that recent content from Emby or something else is highlighted, as NetFlix does very well ! Because as it stands today, Emby is not interactive with Android TV I hope it can be implemented Hispa

In a command line utility like Terminal it's "su -i" to elevate your admin account ,but if using WinSCP there is a guide in the tutorial section here: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/103636-how-to-access-synology-nas-as-admin-or-superuser-using-winscp Basically, you will need to do the parts in blue as you've most likely done the rest already.

You may have to elevate yourself to SU within WinSCP. Admin by itself doesn't have permission to write there

I'm using WinSCP, I'm logged in as admin, the plugins folder seems to be owned by the user emby, does that make a difference?

Check the version of mkvpropedit - there was a case a while back where it corrupted the MKV's (not the plugin per say) but we ensured that version was detected and removed. If you have not overwritten the mkvpropedit check, then there is no reports of corrupt MKV's. After the restore, try an individual file to see if you can re-produce. If you can then maybe share one with me (pm) and I'll see if I can re-produce as all the plugin does is pass a command line to mkvpropedit itself to modify the file header title tracks.

Many users have already received their Ugreen NAS. It would be very nice if there was a native APP here. I'm currently using Emby via Docker. Appropriate developer kits can be requested by email from Ugreen. It would be nice if there was a native server soon.

It would be really nice to be able to continue scrolling through the guide and when you hit the bottom it takes you right back to the top. Rather than having to scroll back up threw everything in reverse. Just a suggestion. And maybe it's only me that would like it.

Currently, I'm facing an issue with organizing TV shows and movies from Netflix or Disney+. If they are turned into collections, it is not intuitive to use. I hope to freely add tags or collections to the main screen's My Media or Library for easier access.

One more thing that I see as a bug. Many times, as I click into a program, the next screen is just the show screen and no episodes. It stays like this for about a minute and then I get "There was an error processing the request. Please try again later." Then I click home from that menu and go back in and it works.

@Brian_Oblivion Hi. Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares? Thanks.

The easiest and most common way is to use Emby Server on your home PC/NAS or other server machine, and use the Emby app on your phone. From there, you can download audio and video files to the device, and you can play them without being connected to your Emby Server. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.

After just restoring a full backup, everything is lagging. leaving it alone for a night.now it's much better, because the library path is different, so I deleted the media library and rebuilt it. So far everything seems to be working fine, Only the copy icon for the API key has disappeared, why?

I tried them all and nothing worked. THEN I tried to open it in a browser on my phone. It connected. I went back and tried the app. It connected! I had tried to connect via the app maybe 50 times with no success. Did exactly the same thing, after opening in a browser and it connected first try. Tested just now (I'm in London, so it's morning) still connected/working. Any explanation at all??
