FWIW, I do prefer 1080p/HVEC's that I have over the x264 due to (aside from the decode/transcode cycles req'd) their "quality" losses being marginal.

My Emby server (Windows) just updated a few days ago to 4.4.3.0... Is this supposed to be the correct version?

(I just ran video w DTS audio and it reported as good direct in 'stats for nerds'... and yet no audio) @SamES

 

You will need the next LG client version which will add this feature.  Hopefully it is released soon

Most of my content is in some derivative of proprietary DTS/DTS-HD, therefore requiring conversion. This is a hassle (not insurmountable, but this feature has kept me from buying the permanent premier).

I will upgrade my TV app asap when it comes out!

still would love to have the same functionality as the chromecast app on the LG TV. The chromecast app is the only one I know of that can do chapter browsing yet the LG TV version cannot.

Just got a new lg 86 and love it and love the look of the emby app

But it's slow to move from item to item 

We are used to roku which is fast and this is down wait, down wait etc etc 

 

Is there a setting we can adjust to help ?

Yes very slow LG app and why ask preplay 7 seconds  premium subs?

We do not need premium we need only playback form server.

Have you checked the playback settings in the client settings menu?  You need to disable autoplay next episode.  I don't think it's possible to autoplay without a countdown if that's what you are wanting.

Great!  Thanks.  The LG TV app installation, I am sure is super easy. I will try to setup the server in a docker on Unraid, which is a learning experience for me, so that will slow me down a bit.  I have seen you do have a Emby docker, so that is great too.  I am getting excited now!

Hello, I have the LG OLED65C19 from 2021 and I believe that the TV has Webos 6.0 installed as OS. Unfortunately there is no Emby in the app store. Is there any plan to provide this yet? Greetings Daniel
