Live TV Audio out of sync ET 2.7.8

Just started with the new update, live TV Audio will get out of sync. Only way to fix is stop playback and restart.

 

I'm just heading out the door so can't attach log file.

 

All settings are on default.

here are log files from last night where it occurred.  it was so bad that my video was a full commercial ahead of the audio.

serverwmc has a dts option that you may want to consult with @@krustyreturns about setting to false.

This workaround assumes your streams are h264 encoded.  In serverwmc's setting file, search for GenerateDTS_h264 and set it to false, ex:

 

  <GenerateDTS_h264>false</GenerateDTS_h264>

 

then save the file and restart serverwmc.

@@Luke has given me a way to make the above workaround unnecessary but I haven't had time to implement and test it yet.  Sorry about that.  Its definitely on my todo list.

Well wonder what my next step should be? Is it possible when the madVR option is available that it may fix this issue?

So far it hasn't acted up in the web player. By now in ET it would be completely out of sync

I have enable interlace set to yes but interlace lines seem very bad in the latest stable version. Was running live tv fine in previous server versions and ET 2.7.8

odd that it seems stable now and interlacing is also gone after I toned down some security software:-/

I have just done a fresh install of ET 2.7.9 and this issue is still creeping up. I notice it on NBC and ABC. Is this something that madVR and reclock will fix once those are available again?

So far I have been playing NBC for an hour straight and no audio delay observed. I have done this with default settings and other settings. Is madVR suppose to work with live TV? I know in the past it did but since this was a tester wasn't sure

The latest release of the app has audio delay settings that can help with audio being out of sync.
