I noticed a few things in the current version that you might want to look into: Audio track selection with HDR content: For HDR movies with multiple audio tracks, playback always defaults to English regardless of the preferred default audio track. While the other audio tracks are displayed before starting playback, only English is actually output. Changing the audio track during playback is also not possible. The only options shown in the menu are "English" and "Auto", while the remaining tracks are missing entirely. With HD/SD material, audio selection works without any issues. This bug does not occur in the official Emby app. Season selection via "Continue Watching": When opening a TV series via the "Continue Watching" feature, the season overview is visible, but individual seasons cannot be selected or clicked. Series logo navigation: In the official Emby app for Android TV, clicking the series logo on an episode's detail screen navigates directly back to the main series overview. Default landing view for Movies/Series: Selecting "Movies" or "TV Shows" from the top horizontal navigation bar currently takes you straight to the full library view ("All"). It would be great to have an option to configure the default landing tab for instance, opening to "Suggestions" / "Recommendations" instead of the full title list. The auto track selection is fixed in the next build (I noticed that last night when i went to play AliG and portreguese started since it was the "first track", not sure what you mean by not selectable in playback though? Clicking the settings wheel and picking the audio for me shows all available tracks on any file. Open a episode in continue watching, you just scroll down and the season card are right there below the More from row. Not everything will be the same, I'm not a fan of trying to "click logos" if anythjing i can add a go to show button in the more tab. All you need to do is open settings > edit top bar and pick what ever 5 items you want (home cant be unselected) the choice is yours for what other 5 library items act as quick links from the top/sidebar. The All movies/all shows are custom tabs, any of the specific library items you pick for here follows embys specific home settings for that library, if you had for example a "4k library" and in emby its set to open to suggestions then on arleos thats what will happen. Not on the current plans, i could look into it but playback, stability and current core functions are the focus.

Ah now I know what the issue probably is (seeing the german language) ive probably (likely) just muddled something up with the localisation - first time doing anything outside of pure english work so i knew id have issues. With the seasons/cast are they highlightable but just not clickable, or they dont even actualy focus (the outlined box)?

The one thing I would like to see (or I may be just missing) is the ability to have it auto select favorites when I go into tv shows, movies, etc. The default is show everything and then I need to move across to the heart. A setting to change this would make this app very good for something so brand new. 1

So in the settings navigation > customise Header/sidebar make sure you are picking the actual library items instead of the shortcuts (that combine libraries) And in EMBY dashboard itself, make sure you select from the dropdown for that library the specific tab you want it to open in and then the app will followw the servers setting. 1

I can choose between all tracks. It won't work again if I disable this feature. I noticed some more track problems with some other movies. There is English and German available. The movie is still in German. Its fixed for the next release, its just a translation issue with how i was picking up tags (it wasnt recognising ger - it was looking for de only instead)

After youve joined the playstore test (with the download link) it can take a few minutes to populate, but you need to open the playstore download on either a desktop, or in a phone browser using "show desktop page" then youll get a playstore link with a device select dropdown to send it too. Since its TV only, regular phone/tablet clicks dont work since it thinks you're accessing the phone store, if that makes sense.

Searching for the app in the store doesn't work.

Yep, auto update as long as that setting is turned on on your device, hen i publish > google reviews it, i post changelogs here/in the test group so thats usually a good indicator of an update being out. Settings menu shows the version too, another way to easily see if you're on the new version. 1
