Is everything definitely correct here? Emby Server 4.9.5.0 requires Emby Server 4.10+.

No, sorry. The changelog bullet points are put together via automation and that one just got in there by mistake.

Hi. I just updated from 4.9.3.0 (using the docker from linuxserver on my synology nas). Now the reugular "Scan media library" ran for the fist time and nearly any movie in my libray is reported as "new". But they where present before and also aleredy watched.

Seems to be some kind of rescan or update thing. After the Job ends, the watched state was restored. On file level only the .nfo file was newly created.

Hello. I'm new here and apparently not very smart. "Add new spotlight home screen section option (requires Emby Server 4.10+)" What does "requires Emby Server 4.10+" mean? Is the update for 4.9.5.0 (which I have) or for "4.10" (which I don't even know exists or where to get)? And where should I go to change this new feature on my server?

In the server dashboard. It also keeps saying to restart the server to apply updates, but whenever I do the same thing happens - It tells me (in the Alerts section on dashboard page) the server has updated to 4.9.5.0 but the version is definitely still 4.9.3.0

Is there an issue with converting files to different bitrates in this version? I noticed I set a convert bitrate of 8 Mbps and for some reason it keeps defaulting to the medium 3.5 bitrate 720p. I have a log file that Ill attach. I also attached the picture of the settings I selected for the convert

Because I set the bitrate to be 8Mbps and it keeps defaulting to 3.5Mbps and changing to 720p from 1080p.. Not sure why it does thst but it shows it happening in the log file as well even though I don't set it to 3.5 Mbps as the bitrate

Hey, on Synology 7.2 updated from 4.9.3.0 to 4.9.5.0. After the update Emby rescanned the entire "Movies" library and did not identify the majority of the movies. I manually went to each movie to "Identify" the movie but it says "no items matching your search criteria were found"

yep, it seems after the update tmdb cant work anymore, tvdb works fine

Thanks I'm glad I'm not the only one. Not sure if I should reinstall the update, I'm scared I will lose what I've watched, play states and favorites.

I agree tvdb there is no issue.
