I presume if you click edit, it will show 192.168.0.6 so the port forward is already in place for 8096 to 192.168.0.6 Launch Emby server on the shield and then in a browser on a PC go to https://canyouseeme.org and enter 8096 in the port to check - if successful then you can test on a phone with just cellular in a browser and go to url of http://your-external-ip-address:8096
sa2000 720 Posted Sunday at 04:02 PM Posted Sunday at 04:02 PM Login to your 192.168.0.1 router and see on the status page what it shows as the WAN / Public IP Address - is it the same as what canyouseeme.org is showing?
sa2000 720 Posted Sunday at 04:09 PM Posted Sunday at 04:09 PM maybe the issue is because it is ipv6 and not ipv4 - can you get Sky to switch you to ipv4 from ipv6
amck24 5 Posted Sunday at 04:13 PM Author Posted Sunday at 04:13 PM I will call them just now and get back to you
amck24 5 Posted Sunday at 04:34 PM Author Posted Sunday at 04:34 PM (edited) `Okay thats me on ipv4 now mate. Success: I can see your service on 90.xxx.xxx.xxx on port (8096) http://your-external-ip-address:8096 loads up too Edited Sunday at 05:27 PM by sa2000 removed WAN IP Address

sa2000 720 Posted Sunday at 04:40 PM Posted Sunday at 04:40 PM and - is emby server running on the shield and accessible on the local network through http://192.168.0.6:8096 from a PC ? and is uPnP Wizaed relaunch now showing an external IP address and port forward of 8096 to 8096 for 192.168.0.6 ? amd does the https://canyouseeme.org show the same public IP as that showing on the Sky Router and in uPnP wizard ? and is it still failing when checking 8096 ?

But the port Emby would use when https is used would default to 8920. The can you see me URL is https. I would assume everything on the internet is using https. Everything except for exploitable hosts. -> Sky uses a stateless alternative called MAP-T to share IPv4 addresses over IPv6, which behaves similarly to CGNAT

sa2000 720 Posted Sunday at 05:16 PM Posted Sunday at 05:16 PM (edited) So the 90.xx.xx.xx IP address that can youseme, org showed is the same as what shows on the sky router ? could you send me by PM (Private Message) screenshots of both canyouseme.org test on 8096 and the sky router status page and also output from the following on the windows PC, open cmd and type tracetrt emby.tv wait for it to complete then copy all the response lines and include in your PM Edited Sunday at 05:20 PM by sa2000
amck24 5 Posted Sunday at 05:22 PM Author Posted Sunday at 05:22 PM (edited) I can't seem to log into the router now, it is saying server not found. Will probably need to reset the router 'tracetrt' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. Edited Sunday at 05:25 PM by amck24

By "Add Server Manually" giving the public ip and 8096 or by Emby Connect ? If by emby connect then go to server settings, open users and edit the user removing the emby connect email address, saving the change, then edit again and add it and save teh change. Then on the remote app, exit the app and relaunch and try again through emby connect
