Hi,

Everything working fine except I keep getting the message: 'In Trial, Expires in 7 days. Unlock or subscribe to EMBY Premiere for unlimited playback.'

If I select the user name/icon on the home page. I get the normal screen Subscribe, unlock etc. options. But when I click on any of the options nothing happens. I realise this is a beta version, but will it stop working in 7 days time? Is there a way around this?

Hi, do you presently have Emby Premiere or have unlocked the app previously?

Hi Cayars,

Thanks for the quick reply. I don't have EMBY Premiere as I don't watch live TV and don't use EMBY Theatre. In the past I think I did unlock the app, however because of the issues I've been having recently I've reset my Firestick to factory settings and this is a fresh install.

OK without Premiere you will need an unlock for basic playback past the trial period.

If you did unlock the app previously you should be able to just do a restore of the license.

You can login via web to the amazon store to check and see if you did previously purchase the app (or just try a restore in the app itself).

You don't even get a small error message on the screen?

Does this device/account have access to the Amazon store?

Have you done development on this device or installed the Amazon purchase testing app?

Strange.  It looks like it is querying in "sandbox" mode which is what it does if you have their testing app installed.  But, I also don't see a call to actually try  the unlock.  You did press that button, correct?  You should get a message when you do that so something very weird is going on on this device.

Hi, Yes. Def pressed the button, in fact none of the buttons seem to do anything when you press them. No messages, nothing. I did sideload the app if that makes any difference.

I suppose it might.  Can you try uninstalling it and then installing from the store?

I can, but the reason I sideloaded the beta was because of the music library problem I'd been having. I'll give it a go.
