I am currently using the Podcast Plugin (LOVE IT @ebr) to watch all of the video podcasts that I subscribe too.

There are a number of the podcasts that I listen to that are over an hour and a half long.  Sadly, I often don't have time to watch the entire episode in one sitting.  When I stop watching the podcast, the plugin simply marks the podcast as watched and moves on to the next episode.  However, as I was not finished watching the last podcast, I would like for the plugin to support resume playback functionality in the same way that the server supports it for movies or TV shows.

First, is this possible to have implemented, and second, if it is possible, will it be implemented?  :)

It is already possible but only works when there's a known runtime. perhaps it's not being reported in the feed, or perhaps it's not being parsed correctly. see if you can get to the bottom of that.

So I took a look at the source RSS feed (http://feeds.feedburner.com/linuxashd) and there doesn't appear to be any specified run time.  I do have downloading enabled however and the podcast episode I am currently watching is downloaded to my server.  Is it possible for the plugin to scrape a runtime using ffmpeg since the source file is being played from the hard drive?  I have an awful internet connection (3Mbps down, 1Mbps up) so I have to use downloading to make the feeds watchable.

On a side note, here are my logs if you want to take a look at them.  I have been noticing a bunch of errors relating to System I/O.  (Off topic I know, but you can see if the Podcast plugin is causing any of the errors though.   :))

The Podcasts plugin has been updated with a new configuration screen to match the look and feel of the rest of Emby Server. I think you'll find it much more enjoyable to use and configure now. Thanks.
