How does the 'game hub' in Kodi/embuary actually work?

I'm using Kodi with embuary on windows and see as well as the usual TV, movie, music etc hubs there is one for games which I assume is a native Kodi thing.

 

How do you actually add a game to it though?

I've tried clicking to add a game but when I navigate to a path containing either a game .exe or a shortcut nothing shows up to select in emby.

How is it supposed to work, or do I need another plugin?
