Hello,

Here is yet another fail to login due to `SQLitePCL.pretty.SQLiteException: Constraint: NOT NULL constraint failed: Tokens.DeviceName`

I renamed / rebooted my android device, which changed nothing to the error.

I also changed the device hostname in dns ( changed nothing ).

Help :) haha

This is a fresh install of emby server 4.4.1.0 on windows.

I can login from web interface with the same user `myusername`, but I get invalid username or password when I try to login using the android app ( fresh install also ).

Would you mind trying this version of the android app:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/84i2gaor1w959q2/MediaBrowser.Mobile-google-armeabi-v7a-release.apk?dl=0

And then provide an android app log by following these instructions:

Thanks.

talk about topic hijack @@freefrank....

I asked him to come in here because he created another topic describing the exact same thing. It's just easier for us to have one discussion rather than the multiple ones over the same thing.

Anyway, can you try the build I've linked to and see if that helps? I'll get it up on the store today.

Same here using that version I can login to emby server. Great! Was the issue related to it not able to get the device hostname?

It was an issue that was occurring when your custom android device name was composed of all non-latin characters.

I see, and looks like that changing device name did not help at all with the older version ( for me ).

Well thanks again, I guess I will keep an eye on futur release to go back to the google-play verison of the client once it's released.
